Although the property appeared to be recently renovated, the room was oddly appointed and could have used a bit more furniture and decor to feel finished. There was also an unfavorable odor in the lobby and elevator. The traffic noise from the highway was audible throughout the night. However, the comfortable bed and quality breakfast were up to the usual HIE standard.

Needed a room for a Conversation in Indianapolis, came across this room. Price was very competitive, and great value. Once checked in, the room was great, clean, and comfortable amenities. My only issue was a tiny bathroom area, but I'm a big guy so.....I would definitely stay here again.

The property was good. The shower was beautiful but you either have to have scalding hot water or cold water could not get it to warm.

The cleanliness, room design and staff friendliness are the top features. I liked the hard floors throughout and the room design. The things that could be improved on: There was a good 2 inches under the door that brought in a lot of hallway noise. There was no bolt on the inside that you flip to ensure no one can get in even if they have a keycard. This made me nervous as a woman traveling alone. The last day, there was no hot water. I'm not a fan of cold showers. The walls were thin and the guy in the next room talking on his phone kept me up into the wee hours. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Dear. Tracy, WE are so sorry to hear about the inconveniences. I will defiantly have our maintenance crew look into those issues. As far as the hot water we did have an emergency and had to shut the water off drain the tank and refill it. Unfortunately, it takes a while for it to fill back up and become hot again. We hope you give us another try in the near future.

The property is well maintained the pool is nice just a side note don't look at the picture of the pool because you'll think there's a hot tub there is no hot tub the breakfast buffet had a lot to choose from

Didn't like parking. The parking area was to small for everyone to park. The staff was polite and helpful when we had an issue with kids slamming doors and yelling in the hallway late at night they resolved the issue.

Great Value
Beds are comfortable, good size TV, awesome breakfast, pool was wonderful. Only bad part was that the elevator quit working and being on the fourth floor made it an interesting morning.

Hotel was modern and clean. My only complaints would be that the elevator was closed the entire morning we were there, and going up and down 4 flights of stairs wasn't easy for my pregnant wife. The other issue was the hot tub was ice cold. Overall nice hotel with good breakfast

Great motel, HORRIBLE shower
This was a great motel, very attractive, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The areas of the motel we saw were all well maintained and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was amazing! Our room was wonderful! The one thing that WAS NOT good was the shower. Evidently, the eco-savings folks in this company are so radical, they do not want a person to get wet when they shower! It was THE WORST SHOWER of any motel I have ever stayed in.

I am a business traveler. And have been traveling for many years. This is in my top 5 hotels i have stayed at, for cleanliness, great breakfast, not perfect but good. Towels don't feel like sandpaper. Quiet, even though the interstate is near. The only thing bad is the roads around Indianapolis have more pot holes than the moon

However we are a very established hotel that has been in the are for over two decades.The surrounding area is fairly dated due to many of the homes in the area dating back to the 1960's and 1970's.
