“A Good Choice”

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable. It is ideal to the expressway to get to downtown Indy and back. It is on the end of Shadeland where there is little activity (truck lines nearby). However, the area appears to be safe since there are other hotels nearby along with a Bob Evans across the street. If I came back to Indy, I would consider staying here again.

“Fantastic stay and Adam was the best!”

Adam upgraded my three rooms to suites so my girl scout troop and accompanying parents wouldn't have to use roll-away beds. He was amazing and the hotel was fabulous! Excellent rooms and lobby and pool along with a great breakfast.

“Great Hotel in Indianapolis”

We really didn't see much of the surrounding area since we arrived late and left the next day. Staff was very friendly and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious.

Wasn't too hard to find, just a little out of the way of most Indy activities. Very nice and clean and a pretty spacious room.

This hotel was so enjoyable! The staff was pleasent and helpful, the room and public areas were clean and well-maintained, the room was beyond clean, beautiful and comfortable. The free breakfast had eggs, sausage, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries, juice and very yummy coffee. The location was very near restaurants and convenient stores. Right off the highway for easy on and off. I can hardly wait to go again.

“Expected Better From Holiday Inn Express”

I stay in a lot of hotels, and Holiday Inn Express is a chain I typically trust. This one fell very short of the high impression it's brethern had bestowed upon me. Our room was directly across the hall from the vending machines and pool area, so it was very hard to sleep. I realize most rooms aren't in this area, but there are quite a few. I asked the front desk about curfew policies for minors, as there were several athletic teams staying there and all VERY loud, and was told it was 11:00 PM. Therefore, don't stay if you need to get up early (as I did), or you will do it on very little sleep. For breakfast, they served what had to be the most disgusting sausage and eggs I have had in my life. I was lucky to get that, though, as they had 1 person working the breakfast area (restocking), and there was rarely food of any sort (including yogart, fruit, bread, milk) for more than about 5 minutes - no exaggeration. I would think that a hotel knowing how booked they were would better prepare, but this one did not. I am not writng off Holiday Inn Express in general, but I will never stay at this specific one again.

“east side Indy”

Neighborhood was not the best but motel was excellent, clean, comfortable, and economical. Staff was friendly, room was large, more like a mini-suite. Our activities were downtown, it was about a 10 minute drive for 1/3 the price of downtown hotels (during Big 10 tournament).

“INDY TRIP”

I was very pleased with the appearance and warmth I felt when I entered the lobby. Adam was very polite and helpful. I was very surprised and disturbed that this hotel only received a 2 star rating. Definitely a 5 in my book. Not sure if it is a policy of Holiday Inn, but the fragrance in the lobby was very relaxing and calming. The suite was very cozy. We only planned to stay one night, but changed our minds and stay an additional night. The easy access to the highway was a major plus. Will be visiting again, really soon.

“Travel Favorite”

I have stayed at this hotel four times. I originally chose this hotel based on its location (half way between my families home and my Mom's home) but we keep going back because it is affordable comfort with great friendly service. The room we stayed in had a half wall with a breakfast bar that divided the area the bed was in from the 'kitchen area'. The kitchen area included a mini fridge, microwave, sink, small counter area, and coffee pot. The bed area had a lot of room between the foot of the bed and wall. It was a perfect room for traveling with a one year old. We set up a pack and play and he still had plenty of room to play. The bathroom is fairly large and has it's own sink. In addition to the great room, the breakfast offers a pretty decent selection of food. The staff has always been friendly and the hotel has always been clean.
