“Excellent for Colts games”

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel a few times after going to a Colts game. We LOVE the location as it is across the street from Lucas Oil Stadium and you don't have to worry about parking. The only problem we had was our most recent stay we found a stain on the comforter in the morning when we woke up that we had not noticed the night before.

“We will certainly go back. It was fabulous and the staff was very accommodating.”

The staff was wonderful and our room was very nice i ndeed. The only problem I had was the swimming pool was very cold and the hot tub was not working. The breakfast we had in the morning was a good variety of choices. We had 5 guests visit us and we had plenty of room and chairs for everyone to sit and relax. I will recommend this place.

“The Best for a Lucas Oil Event”

The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. I spent all day at a band contest in Lucas Oil and how wonderful it was to just cross the street and "come home" to a waiting shower and a comfy bed! The only drawback to me is that there are no food places surrounding the hotel that I could see. I anticipated that and got something at the contest and took it back to my room. I will certainly stay here again next year.

“Clean and Big Hotel Room”

Nothing Fancy but the room was large and clean. There was a mini fridge and a micro-wave. The couch and sitting area was attached to the bedroom area unlike some suites. Parking was uncovered and $12. If you are going to a football game, the colts play just across the street.

Area recommendations

Downtown has plenty to do and see. Fountain Square was a nice place to see live music.

“great location with friendly staff.”

If you want to go to an event at Lucas Oil stadium, the location is great. The hotel was in good condition. It was clean and well kept. Parking is not a problem. Nearby restaurant selection is limited. Staff was friendly and helpful. Maid service was excellent. The breakfast was average and somewhat disappointing. This may have more to do with it being a Holiday Inn Express.

“Would stay again”

The location was perfect. Right across the street from the Lucas Oil Field Football stadium. All of the places we wanted to see and eat at were within walking distance. The management was very friendly. If you go to a NFL game this is the place to stay. Great restaurants within 6 city blocks. You don't have to drive anywhere. This is the place to stay. Yes we would go back!!!

“Good location”

We attended the Indy 500 race and this hotel was all decorated for the event. The hotel staff was very friendly and gave me good information on what to see during my stay. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the race track and within walking distance to downtown. It's directly across the street from the Lucas Oil Stadium. We arrived late in the evening and there are a few restaurants that deliver so we didn't have to go out to find a place to eat when we arrived.

Area recommendations

The downtown area has lots of restaurants and the race track is close by. Cabs are easy to find.

When to go

If you like racing, Memorial weekend is perfect. They have a parade downtown on Saturday and the Indy 500 race on Sunday.
