Eiteljorg Trip

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: The views. Access to local attractions and Eiteljorg Museum.
Cons: Had two long distance phone calls placed from my room, that neither occupant made. We had our own cell phone and did not place any calls.
Location: Great food, access to local attractions.
Very nice clean rooms. Great hotel staff. Easy access to food, dining, and recreation.

Nice place to stay in Indianapolis

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: The valet staff at this location was absolutely amazing. Every single one of them was genuinely friendly. Great job!
Location: The location was great, everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. It was our first time in town we will be back and will stay at the Hyatt.
We were just staying one night but I was looking for something close to the spot I needed to go. The location was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A beautiful hotel.

Moldy showers and dirty rooms

Posted Jun 29, 2015
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Hyatt regency of Indianapolis over the weekend and I was not impressed. At check in the lady who "helped" us check in was not paying attention to us and didn't even give us any information about our stay.. Like how to get to our room or how much we were being charged for the deposit. When we arrived to the room we noticed old food crusted onto the comforter and mold in the shower. The housekeeper changed the comforter after we called and she was nice. There was also barely any water pressure when trying to shower or wash our hands. After exploring the city we came back to the hotel only to notice the doors were locked. It had a sign stating they'd be locked after 10pm but it was only 8. We then had to walk around to the other enterance walking in the street because there was construction blocking the sidewalk. We went to the pool and security was standing by the locker room door and the lady was very rude to us. We did not feel welcome at this hotel. There was a wedding going on as well there so you had to wait forever for an elevator only to be packed everytime. At check out I told the lady the problems we had and she did not offer us anything for our problems. To say the least we will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

Comfortable but pricey

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Location: We were in Indianapolis because our granddaughter was going to be admitted to Riley Children's Hospital early the next morning.
The accommodations were very nice. Room was pricey for what it was. Parking was expensive as well.

Beautiful hotel, close to everything

Pros: The natural light, the openness, the cleanliness, the ease of parking, its proximity to downtown and to the White River State Park
Location: Downtown - lots of great restaurants near by (check out Palomino)! We walked over to White River State Park - beautiful location, beautiful hotel
Beautiful hotel, lots of natural light streams in through the roof, close to downtown, clean rooms, great decor in the rooms, great value
