Posted Aug 12, 2014

Thank you for your post. I understand your comment regarding the parking and wanted you to know that we are competitive with all the full-service hotels in downtown. We will continue to monitor this. Regarding the Internet, we are required by Marriott to follow their pricing guidelines so there is consistency within the brand. Currently they do have a fee for their full-service properties. To give our guests an option, we offer complimentary wireless in the lobby and restaurants. Again, it was our pleasure to have you with us, and we hope to welcome you back soon.

Indy Visit

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Location and style
Cons: Housekeeping did not leave a complete supply of coffee, etc.
Location: It is within walking distance of all downtown attractions (Lucas Oil Stadium, Capitol building, Circle Centre, etc.)
It was very good. The rooms were very nice, but street noise was loud even on the 23rd floor. The televisions are modern and of good quality with nice furnishings.

The hotel staff was very friendly they went above and beyond to make your stay a good one the rooms were clean and they came in daily to tidy up! Everyone in the hotel seemed to be having a very good time. The restaurant within the hotel was clean, and friendly as well and food was top quality. Nice views out the windows! I highly encourage you to stay at this hotel.

Great Hotel

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: It is clean, well decorated, with comfortable but small rooms. The restaurant and service were great. The pool is small but it was not crowded.
Cons: No
Location: Great location with downtown amenities at your side. The Indians triple A baseball games are across the street and the Zoo is close by.
I had a great weekend with my children at the JW Marriott. The room was comfortable and clean but relatively smaller than I expected by the price that we paid and the description at your website. We did not get a high floor view as described when booked by Expedia.

Garden and Galleries stay at the JW

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: This hotel was clean, updated, has great facilities and fast elevators.
Cons: Staff training could be more polished, quality of food could be improved. Get a room facing west, down the hall from the elevators for good sleep.
Location: This hotel is connected by catwalk to the convention center which is across the street from the Lucas Oil Stadium where the Colts play.
I stayed there during a business trip (7/2014). Probably should have used valet, I got lost deep in the parking garage and ended up at the other hotel that shares the garage. Once I found my way to the JW, the staff was attentive, but also seemed to still be training. I was given a room key that did not work on the elevator, which required me to go back to the front desk. I was then escorted to my room,..eh. On the fifteenth floor facing the street, the traffic noise was apparent. The room was located next to the elevators - foot traffic noise. Baby in the room next to me - must have had an ear infection. The noise kept me from sleeping well. The room itself was quite nice and comfortable. Room service was prompt. The rack of ribs was mediocre (unevenly cooked) and the pinot grigio was fair (Kris pinot grigio). I know it is personal preference, I tend to like the Santa Margherita pinot grigio. The choice of the two would be welcomed. The lobby is attractive and facilities are nice. There were no garden or galleries as there were no tickets to any of these attractions as described, but I guess you have to sell rooms, you need to say things to get them sold. It's not what I would do in my business, but it's not uncommon. This hotel would be fun for adults going out on the town, but not what I would describe as "family friendly". This hotel is still "new". I would let the growing pains happen and revisit in a year or two.

Thank you for your feedback, and I would like to apologize for the problems you experienced. We always want to provide our guests with an excellent experience and it is clear that we did not meet your expectations or our own. I am not sure what happened to the tickets for your package, but we will take steps to see that this situation does not recur. I would hope you will give us the opportunity to regain your confidence in our service.

No better place to stay

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The fact that the management team empowers their employees to go over and beyond to make it a memorable experience
Cons: NO
Location: Great restuarants
I surprised my wife and took her to Indy to celebrate our 4th Wedding Anniversary. Made the decision to stay at JW Marriott. Price was about what I expected, but the service far exceeded our expectations. From the Bellman to the Front Desk representative, they all appeared to be genuinely interested in making this an unforgettable experience for the both of us. And they were successful. I informed the bellman, and young college student, that I had made reservations at a local seafood restaurant and asked if he could provide us with some directions. So as he escorted us to our room he proceeded to give us pretty sound directions on how to get there. Approximately 1 hour later as we enter the lobby preparing to depart for our evening dinner...who shows with a MAP, with the restaurant clearly flagged. Wow...we did not expect that. Last example. As my wife and I enter into our room clearly exhausted from a looooong evening, we look over the desk and there's a bottle of wine and box of chocolate with a hand written note signed by the Front Desk clerk and the Bellman. Wow! My wife initially thought the this was one my gestures and I thought the same of her, but low and behold, it was from very unlikely employees. We talked about it all the way back to Chicago!
