Beautiful hotel in a great location! Self parking is $37/night though- so make sure you budget for that!!!

If you are looking for a more affordable option, we can recommend the White River State Park Garage or the Government Garage (which is attached to the hotel via a sky walk). Had a great time exploring downtown area. Our daughter is going to college in Indy so had fun seeing the sites, eating and shopping.

Room not clean, heavy dust under beds and on head boards. Wire table dusty with something splashed all over it. Bathroom door glass and splashed liquid all over. Room also very noisy in regards to outside noise and from other rooms. This was a surprise for my sisters birthday and was embarrassed considering this hotel is supposed to be the heel of the city

Nice hotel but not worth the cost.

it's a nice facility, glitzy and all. However the bed gave me a back ache. The linens are nothing special. There was no table to sit at for room service. The parking is $42 bucks a night, so you feel ripped off from the get go. Of course there is a charge for internet. The pool is small and the locker rooms has only one shower. There is no spa and out side people had to be called in. The gym is great. The bread at room service was hard/dry and the baby back ribs were very tough. Never had such tough ones. The next night we ordered 2 pieces of pie and that cost over $33.00 when all the fees are addes. At breakfast one morning the waitress was a ditz, never cleared anything away and never brought the water I asked for 3 times. The bread/bagels/croissants were again hard an dry one day and good the next.Most of the hotel staff is friendly and well trained. The views from the upper floors is great, the windows floor to ceiling and wall to wall. Nice. Rooms are very quiet. The value is just not there. For a weekend get-a-way, I"d not stay here again.

Excellent hotel, but ...

It is a great hotel, but considering the price that one pays, some basic utilities like wifi shouldn't have to be paid for

Currently Marriott does offer complimentary wifi to all their rewards members, and there is no fee to become a rewards member. Nice hotel downtown but overpriced.

Pros: Staff is friendly, nice view
Cons: Put refrigerators in room, lower price, cheaper parking
Location: Excellent location, walking distance to everything downtown
The hotel is very nice, more on the upscale side. The rooms are more expensive than other downtown hotels. Parking is an additional cost per day. The pool was nice because we were the only ones in it but it is very small. Hot tub is big. Rooms are supposed to be soundproof but we had to listen to a party across the hall all night. The door kept opening and closing and you can hear everything. The view is very nice with floor to ceiling windows. The hotel is in a perfect location for everything downtown. I just wasn't overly impressed for the price. There should at least be a refrigerator in the room.

Great stay in Downtown Indy

Pros: Quiet room.
The room was quiet and comfortable. The views of the downtown were very pretty. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Great view of Indy

The JW is very nice. I used the fitness center and it was very well equipped. We forgot toothbrushes and had to call a second time to get them brought to the room but they did arrive. We ate breakfast at the restaurant both our waiter and the food were top notch. We enjoyed our stay.
