Close to the event I attended, very nice , staff .

Pros: Everything
Location: We were going to 8 Seconds Saloon for a confederate railroad concert, motel was about 2 miles from the event. Nice restaurants close by.
Great motel, clean room, easy to find, staff wonderful, close to the event I was attending.

I was laying on bed watching tv for about an hour when i decided to turn off the tv and call it a nite before big trip. As i sat up and turned toward the light switch I glanced back towards bed and saw that the pillow that my head was resting on was covered in bugs. I freaked out and called front desk. I was booked into another room but did not sleep all nite as I was busy checking for bugs.

Hotel is dated. Toilet in room did not work well. On second night of stay I requested additional bath towels since we only had one and never received them. Bed sheets had ink spots on them. Teenagers running in hallways and knocking on doors for several hours second night of stay. One positive, great shower pressure.

Wouldn't Book Again

The room instantly stunk, there were dead bugs in the toilet, the staff was snobby and had food out on the counter. I left 10 minutes after checking in.

Pros: I like the location.
Cons: Housekeeping needs to do a better job of cleaning.
Location: The airport is close and it is quick and easy to get downtown.
I'd recently stayed at another La Quinta for the first time and was very pleased with the experience I had, so I booked again at this location. This facility is not as nice. Mainly, the cleanliness was disappointing. For example, the entrance closest to my room looked like it had not been mopped or vacuumed in weeks and had a strange odor. I found a used bath towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door from a previous guest. There was dust on the bathroom floor where it appeared the housecleaning staff never mopped behind the door.

Convenient but dingy

This hotel has a convenient location and 24-hour shuttle for those of us arriving late at night to the airport. Got a real cheap rate through Expedia, too. But the facilities were old and run down. The breakfast was as basic as a "full breakfast" could be: single waffle maker, hard boiled eggs, apples wrapped in cellophane.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the breakfast buffet was awesome.
