Pros: Easy access to restaurants and entertainment venues
Cons: There were sufficient items available for breakfast, but the biscuits were cold and stale as if they set out all night. The gravy was cold,as well.
The hotel is easy to find and is conveniently located near most of the Downtown Indy entertainment venues. Hotel staff was very helpful and polite. Being unaccustomed to dining downtown,we asked for recommendations for restaurants and were extremely pleased with the choices they gave.

nice hotel in downtown IndianapolisPosted Jan 9, 2015
Stayed at this hotel while I was taking some classes at the college across the street. Nice location. I really liked this hotel because I was able to bring my dog along so I would have some company while I was staying. All staff was great and very friendly.

was what we expected. will go back next yearPosted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: close to downtown
Cons: its a older hotel, but is fine.. rate is good.
Location: perfect spot, you can walk to locations
had no problems, clean room, internet service, everything we needed. if you want a 5 star hotel, this is not it. if you want a clean place to stay and sleep, close to sports, then this is a good option..great rates

Good price for the locationPosted Dec 15, 2014
Great hospitality, room was nice. Hotel may have been renovated as it had a weird smell (hospital like) but was good for price

Great hotel, sketchy part of downtown.Posted Dec 9, 2014
Cons: More accessible outlets.
Location: Within walking distance to most downtown activies, bars, events, etc. Rougher part of downtown so don't do the walk after dark alone.
The location of the hotel is a little sketchy for some. I've stayed at this hotel in the past. It is within walking distance of downtown bars, events, etc. However, don't do the walk alone. The hotel is clean, and 'up-to-date' with upgrades. Room was very clean and comfortable. LOVE the tons of pillows on the bed. Only suggestion is not enough easily accessible outlets for as much technology as people travel with. Great overnight stay.

Was charged the full amount of a room due to a reservation mistake and did not get any type of customer service. All they gave me was to call three different people who gave me three different answers.

Simple, bare necessities hotel, in downtown IndplsPosted Nov 27, 2014
Pros: The staff were great and friendly. Breakfast was also simple but nice.
Cons: Heating in the rooms ought to be improved.
Location: Not much really.
Clean hotel, comfy beds, but could use a little bit of heating in winter especially in bathrooms.

Nice hotel recently remodeled. Close enough to walk downtown no frills but great for the money.

Pros: Good location, within 3 blocks of the Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Also, good breakfast variety and roomy table arrangement.
Cons: Unseasonably cold in Indy. Room heater was adequate, but kind of drafty in room.
Location: Bankers Life Fieldhouse within 3 blocks.
Older hotel, but clean and provided a good value and location. I would stay there again.

Close to Downtown.Posted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Extremely helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Wifi access, parking, luggage cart(s), chair and ottoman in rooms.
Location: On the east edge of downtown. We walked everywhere we went. Near a number of Catholic Churches. It is next to the heliport, but that didn't bug me.
Very little covered parking. I was there for 5 days so I had a fair amount of luggage but couldn't find a luggage cart. Elevator is very small. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I couldn't connect to the wifi from my 3rd floor room so I had to go downstairs with my laptop to connect or try and get into the business center. Breakfast was ok, probably the best hotel waffle I've had. It's an old facility but it's pretty well kept. Location and price were good but the amenities left a bit to be desired. Very very close to the Bankers Life Fieldhouse and within walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium(we walked to the Sunday night game). If you're looking for a fancy hotel this isn't it but if that isn't a concern then you should be fine. I only had a desk chair in my room. I would have preferred another chair. Our group had two rooms and the other room did have a chair and ottoman.
