Close to Lucas Oil Stadium

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Customer service and friendly people were the strong point.
Cons: PLEASE put exhaust fans in the bathrooms! Also, they should really be at least queen size beds, not double. Beds uncomfortable!
Location: We were there for the DCI Finals. The hotel was great place to be for all events going on for that particular weekend!
The hotel is close to Lucas Oil Stadium, which is the main reason we were there. The rooms are small, the beds are small and uncomfortable, and there is no fan in the bathroom, which they really need to look into changing! However, the hotel served it's purpose, and the staff was VERY customer service oriented! From the front door to the front counter, everyone was professional and polite. It was a very busy weekend downtown, and the hotel was busy, but they still stayed courteous and friendly.

Tilly Thank you for staying at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown for the DCI Finals. The hotel enjoyed having the DCI families staying with us over the weekend. We appreciate the comments on the friendly customer service and will pass this along to our staff. I apologize that your room bed was uncomfortable during your stay and will look into this as we want to ensure our future guests don’t experience the same situation. Thank you sharing your comments and I hope that we are able to serve you in the very near future.

Noisy and loud

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Do not stay here if u want a good nights sleep. Walls are paper thin doors let nights from hallway in and if your near ice or elevator it will upset you.

Hidden expenses.

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Get to the hotel and have nowhere to park so they tell us to find a spot on the street( which I had to pay for) then when a spot opened in there parking garage they charges us a additional $30 just to park the car in there garage. Ridiculous!!!!

Wonderful honeymoon beginning!

Posted Jul 28, 2014
I booked a room at the Marriott for the night of our wedding, since the two of us had stayed there for a Christian college conference independently in the past. It had memories, yes, but it was also a wonderful stay when I was there a few years ago. We were welcomed by friendly staff as soon as we pulled into the drive at 10:30 p.m. on a Saturday evening. We were greeted when we entered the door, and Katie who was working at the desk was friendly and cheerful after a long day of work, I'm sure. It was great to have that after a long day of wedding festivities and exhaustion. Katie even asked us what we were doing down in Indy, and we told her we were starting our honeymoon. She asked if we had breakfast plans, and she offered us complimentary breakfast buffet tickets for breakfast in the hotel in the morning. Such a blessing! Overall - wonderful stay and not one complaint!

Extra charges for internet and expensive parking

Posted Jun 2, 2014
Cons: Don't charge for internet access.
Marriott Hotels should be avoided if you don't like paying $14.95 per day for in room internet, PLUS $30 per day parking ($36 per day if you use the valet). Charging for the internet these days is like charging for electricity, so I'll be taking my hotel business elsewhere.

Thank you for your valuable comments, we really appreciate your feedback on your recent stay with us. As our hotel is a Downtown Convention Center Hotel we do charge for internet in the guest rooms and do charge for guest parking, my apologies. However, we do also provide complementary internet in our lobby and public spaces for guests that may need to connect for short periods of time. We do hope that we may be able to serve you in the very near future.
