“Nice hotel - awesome dinner!”

I always choose a hotel when travelling for work with a restaurant/lounge. The food at this hotel restaurant was fabulous. I highly recommend the food - and the new coffee/to go bar in the morning was wonderful as well.

“There are no words that can adequately describe my thanks to the people at this hotel.”

With my two sons (22 and 17) stranded in Indianapolis, scared and tired after a terrible accident late at night, the staff at this hotel stepped up and made sure that they were comfortable and safe until I could drive the 6 hours from home to get to see them. My room was ready for me and I was greeted with compassion when I arrived at 5:30 in the morning. Without asking, the front desk attendant told me that the check-out time for my sons and me had been extended to 2 pm. Rather than take the company line and tell me that they needed a hard imprint of a credit card to get my sons into a room, they came up with a way to have me pay for the room by using Expedia.com to ensure not only that my boys would get into a room, but that I would get the Expedia room rate and not have to pay the off-the-street rate.

“Always satisfied”

I have stayed at this location many times related to my job. It is always manned by a friendly and helpful staff, and the food, both restaurant and medium and large luncheons are also always among the best. My room this time, although lacking of a "view" was well maintained, and the bedding was perfect. Overall another good work-related overnight experience. The buffet luncheon was extremely good and well organized and displayed. Dining service in the meeting room was excellent.

“Always stay here”

This hotel is located near my family in Indy. We have been staying here for years and have been very happy every time we have stayed here. The rooms are very nice. The hotel is very near I-70 which is perfect for our travel plans.

“Convenient to road and easy to get to.”

Hotel was clean and staff at desk was helpful. Room did NOT have tissues in box or anywhere else. Housekeeping staff on week-ends needs a little checking on.

“Bad Coffee Maker”

The Marriott is a lovely hotel and convenient for our Indy visits. However, on this trip, we were distressed because they had changed the coffee makers. They switched to a machine that has coffee that is enclosed that you slip into the machine. We couldn't figure a way around this to get hot water since the enclosed gizmo is the filter, too. The cofffee wasn't that good either. Even though we have stayed at this hotel for years, this coffee maker problem may force us to stay elsewhere. If you don't want coffee or tea, this is a fine place to stay and there is an excellent family restaurant right next door called Lincoln Square.
