“A piece of crap!!!!!”

“A Convenient Stay”

The room we stayed in was very nice. We actually got upgraded to a room with a microwave and frig which I wasn't expecting. The only fault I give this room was it was on the fifth floor and it was hot. The air conditioner needed to be updated cuz' it didn't work very well, so we had the window open the whole time. I also think they need to vary their free breakfast menu a little bit for those of us who are staying for more than two days. Overall, for the price I paid and what we needed it for met my expectations.

Area recommendations

I would recommend the hotel I stayed at on I-70 because it right off the highway and real close to restaurants and gas stations.

“Great for Passing Through”

If you are passing through Indianapolis going East and need a place to stop for the night I would recommend this Hotel in particular for its prime location next to I-70. It is a nice stay for a reasonable price.

“Pretty nice hotel”

The hotel was nice. The restaurant was great too! The blankets weren't the best though, and there weren't that many channels on the tv, but overall it was a nice quality hotel.

“Getto!!”

Dirty and Getto!! Stains everywhere walls, carpet and tub. Only two towells and washclothes for 4 guests with no availablity at front desk on washclothes. Person getting arrested as we checked in. Unable to cancel at this point. Weird smell to whole place. Never again.

“dated hotel, but clean and comfy.”

This hotel is very convenient to get to. Hotel is dated but accommodations were clean. Room was comfy. Our no-smoking room with 2 dbl beds also had a chair and ottoman, as well as 2 chairs and a table. We were able to string together chair-ottoman-chair to make another sleeping surface for our 3rd child (2 adults, 3 kids in this room). It is not, however, in the best neighborhood. Even just being across the intersection would have felt more safe. All in all, for the price we paid, we would stay there again if need be.

Area recommendations

This exit is fine, but I would plan to be back at the hotel to stay by dark, especially if by yourself. I felt perfectly safe inside. There are several other hotels across the intersection (one of which I've stayed in before), and those felt a bit safer to be out after dark.

Family-friendly activities

Don't miss the Indy zoo and botanical gardens, they are fabulous! Very clean, easy to get around, even with strollers. Don't let cold weather deter you either, as there are still many inside things to see and do that are great. There is even a shark touch tank! The Children's Museum is great, too but our family prefers the zoo!

“NEVER, NEVER AGAIN”

Arrived after 4:30 PM, no rooms were available. Had to wait half an hour until housekeeping finished cleaning one. Nearly gagged on the smoke stench in a supposedly smoke free room. Requested and received another room that wasn't quite as bad but you could still smell smoke. Breakfast was disgusting and presented in a dark dingy area. Beds and pillows were OK, however the hallways and rooms were dirty.

“Would not stay again.”

The carpeting seemed dirty especially in the room. Dirty washcloth on the tub. Fire alarm connected but hanging down the wall. Staff was friendly. Surprised at the rating this hotel was represented as in the hotel listing. Would not stay there again.

Area recommendations

Carmel. We have stayed in that area before and we felt like this was close enough to the tournaments we were attending that we would try this area. Carmel is a tony area where you have access to shopping, restaurants, etc. but also can get on the interstate and have access to the city.
