Beautiful, boutique hotelPosted Jun 30, 2014
Cons: No hot water one morning. Had to take a very cold shower. Hotel did offer a breakfast voucher but only after I requested it.
Location: Near center of Downtown and many shops and restaurants.
The hotel was lovely but my experience was dampered because I had no hot water one morning. Overall the hotel is great and the amenities are top notch.

Not quite as advertisedPosted May 25, 2014
The hotel is absolutely worth a stay, that said our room did not look anything like the pictures on Expedia. For whatever reason, the hotel gave us a room in the extended-stay side of the hotel despite us booking a regular room. The rooms in the extended-stay seemed much smaller than the rooms pictured on Expedia's website. It did have a small kitchen but for an overnight stay that wasn't beneficial for us. Additionally, the extended-stay rooms are in a separate wing of the hotel which was not convenient to the lobby or restaurant/bar. There was also a wedding going on in the hotel, and we had to pass through the reception area to get to our room from the lobby. I asked a hotel Associate if there was an alternate way, and was told no I would just have to pass through the wedding reception. This was kind of awkward. Despite these issues, I would stay at the hotel again, I would just ensure I got a room in the regular side of the hotel. We were slightly disappointed in our stay, as it did not quite meet our expectations based on how it was presented online, but it was still very nice.

Great hotel with great servicePosted Apr 28, 2014
Our room was clean and comfortable. There are many appliances available for use. Weddings and other stuff will take place here. It was just a good experience!

One of my Favorite HotelsPosted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Everything from the service to the facilities is remarkable.
Cons: It would be nice if they had a pool and/or gym at the hotel.
Location: Great central downtown location across from Bankers Life Fieldhouse and walking distance from the convention center and Lucas Oil Stadium.
I've stayed at the Alexander on 3 separate occasions and I have yet to be disappointed.

Nice place!Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was great, and the staff was super friendly
Cons: Sleep number beds!
Location: Various restaurants, bars, clubs, pacers arena
I was looking for hotels for a convention, when I realized that everything had been booked around the convention center. I began looking out a few blocks, and found the Alexander. Everything was top-notch, rooms were awesome. The walk turned out to be fine, and gave us some time to work off the beverages that may have been consumed!
