Nice hotel, close to Lucas Stadium

We arrived at 4:00 and was told the room was not ready. We were then asked to leave a cell number and was told the staff would call when the room was ready. After 1 1/2 hours we returned to the front desk to ask about our room and it was finally ready. Was very disappointed about the wait and the lack of getting a hold of us to let us know the room was ready.

Weekend stay for event

Pros: Location - next to convention center and 2 blocks from Stadium
Cons: Most everything - including the service
Location: In the heart of downtown - close to everything
We chose The Westin hotel because of the downtown location next to the convention center & Lucas Oil Stadium for an event, and at a special rate from Expedia. Overall, the hotel is nothing special. The room was standard size, the bathroom was small & cramped. Overall amenities were the usual. The bed had 2 comforter covers and was way too hot. The facility is dated. The staff was OK, but I never saw a manager anywhere until we checked out. Shula's steakhouse and no name restaurant were understaffed at times and the staff was cheerless if not downright incompetent at times. Food was good, but slow. Would not stay here again if not for the price and location. There are a ton of other "brand name" hotels within a block or two. I travel for a living - I'd pass this one by on business.

Nice hotel

I had a nice stay at the Westin. The hotel was clean, pretty and not too big. The staff was in pleasant.

Pros: very clean and stocked well
Cons: I would always want a paper print out of my bill as we use to get on last day or on tv.
Location: great
very good experience,only problrm we had was a message on the phone and could not get.,spoke to someone was told we did not have message. I had left my scarf in dining area and did not find out until check out. the phone kept ringing in middle of nite. just need to fix message machine. every thing else great! we just unplugged phone.

Super Nice Hotel

Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: Parking
We only stayed one night for an event at Lucas Oil. Very nice Hotel. It is convenient to many things. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The price was good for how nice the hotel was.The lobby was very pretty and the staff were all extremely nice. Shulas was delicious and right in the hotel.

Pros: The bed was delightfully comfortable and staff helpful.
Cons: The ventilation system, set for cooler night / sleeping temperatures cycled on and off continuously throughout the night. Disturbing sleep.
Location: Several museums, a world-class zoo, and a large enclosed shopping mall with movie theater and plenty of variety for eating within walking distance.
Check-in was flawless. While the room was near the elevator we did not hear it. The staff was also very helpful in giving local directions and information.

Pros: comfortable bed, cleanliness, atmosphere
Cons: Staff needs to better quote about airport transportation. They told me 3 different prices and I ended paying way more. I was unhappy.
Location: walking distance to shops and some other attractions.
