My husband and I talked about visiting the Indianapolis Zoo for years, so we finally planned a mini-getaway with an overnight stay in Indianapolis. We chose the hotel unseen through Expedia based on ratings, price, location, etc. We could not have been happier with our choice!! The hotel and grounds were beautiful (lovely landscaping), our room was crisp, clean, and comfortable, and we loved being on the IUPUI campus. Even though the outside temperatures were over 100 degrees during our visit, we took a sightseeing walk on the afternoon we arrived and saw a number of great sights (the Indiana Statehouse; the Soldiers and Sailors' Memorial, etc.)within a short distance from the hotel. We asked the front desk if we could have a 1 pm checkout since we were going to the Zoo, and they were very agreeable. It was the wonderful little getaway we planned. The ONLY complaint I have about our room was that there was not an exhaust fan in the bathroom, so after our showers the mirror stayed steamy for awhile, making morning preparation a bit more difficult. We'd absolutely return here again.

The requirement of giving the hotel a card that they will hold 100 dollars on for incidentals is very unnecessary. This puts a hold on your card for over 48 hours or more for incidentals that I will not have. I do not use the phone in hotel rooms and any parking or room service will be paid with cash.

A very comfortable hotel located well for IUPUI visitors. Also very close to downtown Indianapolis, White River State Park, the Indiana Convention Center, etc. Staff was helpful. Unfortunately we heard it would soon be turned into a dormitory.

Staff was great. The courtesy shuttle made it easy to get to Cirlcle Center Mall. No need to spend the extra to right in downtown. They also have a very nice fitness room with complimentary gatorade.

I enjoyed my 4 night stay at the hotel. The only minor issues; the elevator went bonkers one day taking everyone one level higher than requested, had to write a written request for restock of body wash, as they did not do it one day during our stay, and our room keys needed to be reset twice. On the second occasion we were told next time to just use the phone near the elevator and they will come to us. The shuttle is great for trips back and forth to the convention center and dowtown dining. But don't depend on the shuttle for early morning events.

“Was a wonderful trip and very friendly staff”

The staff was very nice the hotel was overbooked due to the mini-marathon but they got us a room after a short wait and compt our parking. They accomodated the runners with a 1230 checkout which was wonderful.
