“pleased”
we were very pleased with the Wingate.
“Northwest Indianapolis preferred”
I have stayed there the past two years for the MotoGP races and have been very satisfied with the rooms and service. The location is great and is very quick to the track, the area restaurants are really good and very close. The management and staff are friendly and accomodating. I would very much recommend this hotel to my friends and family. If I go back to the races next year, I will certainly reserve a room there!
“Best Hotel in Indy”
To me, staying here was like staying at a fancy upscale hotel at a great price, with everything included. At the fancy upscale hotels everything is an extra charge. The hotel was extremely nice & the beds are sooooo comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel & will stay here again when visiting the area.
“Management not responsive to front desk issues”
Had a major problem at checkout when the bill for three days was incorrect. Desk manager grabbed my invoice that was delivered under my door and would not return it. Additionally, the smoke alarms had not been maintained with low batteries and the elevator certifications were expired. Hotel was extremely clean.
“Nice unexpected surprise”
Downtown was booked, so we stayed at this northwest hotel. Turned out to be very nice. Nice hotel staff, great pool/spa for kids/family. One of the best unexpected things was the awesome Mexican restaurant in the nearby strip (you can walk from the hotel). This stuff was authentic/chef style Mexican, very unique compared to your usual Mexican food. And $4 Blue Moon Drafts. This was a treat. The restaurant staff (two brothers run the place) were very friendly and the chef (one of the brothers) is very serious about his menu. Try the fudge brownie made with peppers. mmmm.
“"Was more than we expected"”
We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at this hotel. The staff was very cordial. The room was tidy and clean with a nice little fridge, microwave kitchnette. We knew we weren't going to be at the hotel much so we didn't expect much...but wow, not bad at all...quite nice. Thank you for a very nice stay.
“My Wingate by Wyndham Stay”
The hotel room itself was very nice and comfortable one of the better accommodations I've stayed at. The only complaint that I had was that the pool and hot tub had not been maintained properly ands they were closed by the Marion Heath Board. The pool was one of the reasons I booked a reservation at that hotel so I could relax a little bit in the evening while I was on my trip. It would have been nice to have been notified about that situation.
