Standard Hotel, Ok for us for one night

If you don't care about a welcoming front desk staff, then this is ok for sleeping & breakfast. Nothing fancy, but we got a good price.

Check In awful. Wrong Credit Card, Room Key did not work, twice. Clerk did not know how to make lock work. Left a wake up call for 7:30 AM that never came. Bad experience.

How often to they clean the rooms?!

Pros: Convenient location to the interstate and a straight shot to the drag strip in Clermont.
Cons: Clean the rooms. Make sure the room key will unlock all exterior entry doors. We had to use the front door even after having our key reprogrammed.
Upon our arrival, the room looked like any other top quality hotel room - neat and clean. When my husband moved the chair from the corner to beside the bed to watch TV that night, it was obvious the chair had not been moved in some time. There was trash where the chair had been and dust so thick, you couldn't tell what color the carpet was! That was vacuumed the next day, I guess, because we had moved the chair for them. The bathroom is another story. Again, upon arrival, nothing seemed unusual. However, in getting ready to shower, I noticed that the chrome fixtures had water spots where they were just allowed to dry. No one had wiped them down, much less disinfected them! Same with the tub and the shower walls. It was obvious that it had been a while since that area had been cleaned. There was mold oozing out from the trim ring at the bottom of the grab bar in the shower! The bed was not made on a daily basis. The pillows were just thrown up there, not straightened or fluffed. The sheets in most hotel rooms fit the beds tightly because of extra padding on the mattresses. I noticed that our fitted bottom sheet had come off at one corner one morning as we left for the day. When we got back that night, the sheets had been pulled up and tucked in, but the corner was still off! I'm not used to put my on sheets on the bed at a hotel!! The thermostat for the A/C was on the wall, which is fine. But, because of the placement, we were either freezing or burning up.

Decent hotel.

I've been in some of the surrounding hotels in Plainfield and this one was very comfy to me for some reason. There rooms seem more spacious than others. Breakfast was awesome! Ladies that worked there were very sweet and attentive. Only issue was my hotel room phone didn't work but I informed the receptionist so it should be taken care of. I guess to sum it up it was a pleasant stay and will be staying here from now on.

Wonderful room, but ...

Our room was very nice, extremely clean and comfortable. However, the garbage can outside by the pool area, and those outside the front door were full and were never emptied for the last 3 days we were there. A cup left on the floor by the elevator remained there for 3 days also. Even worse, they advertise a whirlpool, which we found out has not been in operation for over a year.

The room was as expected, nice and comfy, The service was well below par, not timely responses, shuttle wait was over 1 hour 25 minutes from Airport, and returning to the airport the shuttle had mupitile stops that took cloase to 45 minutes at 5:15 AM.

Spa and tv broken

The hot tub was boarded over and when I asked about it I was rudely told its been that way for a year. Then we went up to the room to watch tv and our tv didn't work. This was the last straw so we just went to bed.

Hotel accommodations were of very high quality, comfort of room and service was superb. I'll stay there again.
