A real treat

Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: Atmosphere, food, staff
Cons: It is an old building so fix ups will always be on the agenda.
Location: It is located in a small, rural community, so there's not much to do, but there is a quiet marina close by on the inter coastal canal.
We had a lovely 4 days at this cheery, historic inn! From the moment we walked through the front door we were entranced by the decor and atmosphere. The Seminole Inn is a labor of love owned and managed by a family that has deep roots in their community. They are dedicated to keeping the unique history and tradition of inn-keeping alive. Not to mention, they have the most amazing fried chicken, as well as many other culinary delights, served in two lovely rooms!

Very hospitable, historical, and comfortable resting spot. If ever passing through Indiantown, whether to sleep or dine, make sure to stop at the Seminole Inn.

Unique hotel

Staying here is like stepping back in time, in the best possible way. Very Old Florida - historic hotel, friendly staff, amazing Sunday brunch. We love to stay here as an overnight stop when on weekend motorcycle trips.

Nice,old style hotel,wonderful staff.

Pros: Liked the down-home feel, and the decor.
Cons: maybe get fridges without rust all over the outside, take the coffee pots OUT of the bathrooms, lots of germs in there.
Location: very small town, 1 burgerking,1 mcdonalds,1 subway,2 gas stations,1 food store ( double priced ) 1 family dollar,1 dollar general. Ya thats it.
family style setting's,warm, home feel. the only thing that was bad is they advertise with Expedia that they serve free cont. breakfast, when indeed they serve no breakfast, which is a must when you're traveling.

Historic Inn in Rural Florida

Posted Oct 9, 2012
Pros: Comfortable bed, lots of tables with games and puzzles, and a blue talking parrot.
Cons: No Orange Juice at the Sunday brunch. In Florida? It would be like having no beer in Milwaukee.
Location: Right alongside the only road through a small, rural town.
A fantastic "bang for the buck," with very pleasant rooms, and lots of common space (along with games, puzzles, books, etc.). Far better than anyone could have expected for something in such a small town.
