Spacious roomPosted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: Location is ideal for city centre shopping and train and bus stations
Cons: Bit of a smell of drains in the room. It would also be handy to have a safe in the room.

Very handy location to railway stationPosted Oct 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is of an older style but was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was directly opposite to the railway station with several good eateries and shops within walking distance.

Convenient location. Close to station and touristPosted Oct 17, 2013
Pros: Proximity to everything needed.
Cons: Fix doors that did not close. Bigger and faster lift.
Location: Location ideal as base for trips to chateaux of the Loire valley
Old world hotel a little past its prime but still quite enjoyable. Supermarket next door was an advantage.

Great Staff, Location, Breakfast - But......Posted Oct 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
This could be a fabulous property but the public spaces need new furniture, carpets, etc. It looks very tired. However, I would definitely stay here again. It is right next to the train station and all of the best shopping and dining.

One night was more than enough!Posted Sep 5, 2013
Pros: Not much
Cons: Interior decor
Location: The location is OK and there are sufficient restaurants aroud
The hotel was basic, old and tatty; its in desperate need for a face lift / decoration/ modernisation.

Nice hotel in ToursPosted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: We liked the location and the big comfortable room.
Location: Close to the train station and the old part of the city.
The hotel room was large and quite modern. The bathroom was good. The hotel was very close to the railway station and the tourist information office for catching our Loire Valley tour. It was within walking distance of a good restaurant street and all the old part of the city. The room was quiet even though it was at the front of the hotel. The woman at reception was very helpful and made a Loire Valley chateau tour booking for us at 9:00pm the evening we arrived, for the next day.
