Great find, good foodPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were looking for a family friendly hotel as a single night slop-over on the way down to Southern France. As we had booked the same hotel for the return journey it was a gamble if the hotel turned out to be bad. The location was pretty good as Tours centre was only a 10 minute drive (well worth a visit). Breakfast was plentiful although EUR15 per person although children ate for free. We also used the restaurant and were well looked after with good food and wine. The room itself was very clean with a spotless, new bathroom/shower room. The staff helpful and friendly. My only complaint was that the bed was a little hard.

Perfect last stop.Posted Sep 3, 2013
We choose this hotel as it was 4hrs from Calais so perfect for the last stop before home. So we were more than pleased to find that the hotel had recently been renovated. Staff were efficient and jovial. And outside area is perfect for an evening meal - which enjoyed by all.

Ideal stop between N & SWPosted Aug 20, 2013
Pros: It was so comfortable, and the food was great.
Location: Only 5 minutes off the motorway, so no need for getting lost in the suburbs.
We used this hotel as a midway stop between the South West of France and Calais. After a long journey, we were warmly greeted (more than can be said for the hotel on the way there!!!). We had booked a family room, which gave us a kingsize bed, and a sofabed. I have to admit to be filled with dread at the thought of the sofabed, most hotels are cramped and uncomfortable. I need not have worried, the bed was a good size with a good mattress. The room was very clean, and the shower room was gorgeous!!! We had a small fridge, and a safe. A seperate toilet was a novelty, but very handy!!! We had a fabulous meal in the restaurant and both the bar staff and the waiting staff were very helpful. There was even a vegetarian option for our daughter, (although it wasn't to her taste) for the first time in 2 weeks. The breakfast buffet was also enjoyed by all of us. We didn't get to use the pool as we arrived later than we intended, but the outside area was lovely. We all slept very soundly, the corridors were so quiet, despite 3 coaches arriving after us. If we are ever travelling in that direction again, I will definitely look this hotel up, and so handy for the motorway!!

Great hotel for a stopoverPosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Room was spotless and ideal for 2 adults and 2 children sharing. Breakfast
Location: Very convenient as a stopover on way to south of France
Mecure Tours Nord was an ideal stopover on the way down to the south of France. The room was very comfortable with little touches like the tea making facilities were much appreciated. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice for all of us. Would stay here again.

Very convenient for touring holidayPosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall we really enjoyed our stay, unfortunately we were on a tight schedule, however I would like to stay long next time. My family & I found the stay very comfortable. We (me plus wife, daughter 9 & son 7) had booked a room for 4 people, it ended up being a room with a bed & a bed settee more than enough space, the kids loved it. Also loved the soaps that were complementary.

A bit outside town.Posted Jul 22, 2013
Clean, simple, but not very close to anything worht saying in Tours. I would recommend more a 'Old Tours Downtown hotel' even if it is just a base to visit castles in the Loire valley.

Just what we required after a long drive. Food Selection and restaurance service very good. Being outside Tours Ctr it was peaceful and our particular room comfortable.
