Phenomenal view of Innsbruck and surrounding mountains. Large room, with windows on one entire wall. Front desk and breakfast staff very friendly and informative. Would highly recommend

I really don't understand how others can leave good reviews for this location. Maybe during the winter season is different. I was there in summer time and it was awful. Very old location with some improvements in furniture and bathrooms. However, the air is bad or missing. There is no refrigerator in the rooms, I found this ridiculous especially in the summer time. The staff/owner was careless, impassive, disturbed by our presence.

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. You arrived before our regular check-in time and you really did disturb me organizing the reservations from this day. But you instantly could move to our newly renovated room - also the bathroom has been completely redone in November 2018. And you are right - we sadly do have an quite extreme heat periode (like whole middle and south europe) which can be very unpleasant - but we are in the middle of the alps.... 8 month of the year we need central heating usually hotels in this area in our price range are not equipped with air condition. My last question regarding your review: If it is so important for you to have A/C and a fridge in your room - why didn´t you book a hotel which offers that? I have no where indicated that our hotel offers neither fridge nor A/C - so I really find it a bit unfair to criticize that.

Absolutely gorgeous guest house. The guest room was spacious and immaculate. We had the most beautiful view from our balcony! Loved all three nights we spent here. The food was top notch as well. We would stay here again and again!

Excelent hotel in Innsbruck.
The Hotel Aldranser Hof is a very comfortable and well located hotel, with the most splendid view of Innsbruck and a gourmet restaurant.

Good for what you pay
First the pros: I was able to add a day with no problem. Staff is very friendly. Room was clean. There is an elevator. I ate there once, and the food was plenty, and good. It is out of the downtown, yet only about 1 mile to the Ambras Castle, and another mile to town, roughly. Cons: Their ad states: "Free WiFi in public areas". This is true as long as you are in the front lobby only. There is no access to the internet anywhere else, even at the restaurants, indoor or outdoor. I had an issue with receiving no service on my last night there for ordering dinner. Also, myself, nor another traveler could not find the Sunday morning breakfast... anywhere! The farm smell from nearby could take your breath away. If I traveled there again, I would only stay there if on a tight budget.

Very nice stay except for one thing...
Very nice view of the mountains. Good restaurant and breakfast buffet. Room was large and comfortable. However, wifi internet is only available in the lobby near the front desk (tolerable), and apparently the hotel allows smoking in the lobby (not so nice). Very unpleasant for non-smokers when using the internet.

I stayed because I wanted to check out Innsbruck. I only was there one night, but it was acceptable. The wifi didn't reach very far, but I really only cared about having a decent nights sleep and breakfast not too far from Innsbruck, and it was fine for that at a really good price.

Stopover on the way north. A little out of the way but well worth the trouble. Ask for a room overlooking Insbruck fabulous view. Evening meal and breakfast exeded expectations Dont forget to use the swimming pool.

Wonderful views
This is a fantastic location with great views overlooking Innsbruck and the surrounding mountains. The service was very good but the flies at mealtimes were a big nuisance with it being next to a farm. Wi-fi access was available but limited to the reception area. The rooms are full of character with the wood panelling and very clean bathrooms.

Decent hotel, could be much better
Aldrans village is a great location with a fantastic view looking down on to Innsbruck. The hotel itself has decent facilities - a nice pool, restaurant and terrace, but was let down by a number a small issues: Pillows in room are awful. One small, old thin pillow per guest. Free internet barely works. Practically no WiFi reception in guest rooms. Towels, like the pillows are cheap, old and small. Service from from reception poor - when the lack of towels around the pool was reported, the advice given was to go and get the used ones from my room! Breakfast offering OK, but basic. Lots of fly's around though.

We went there in July and my family was alone in while hotel because it winter ski resort. Breakfast was wonderful. Hotel is located few miles avay from the Innsburg in Alps. Forest full of berries,beautiful view of Alps. We just rested and picket up berries whole 2 days..

I would have rated this a 5-star if it wasn't for all the noises you can easily hear from the rooms next door if you get someone inconsiderate next to you (yes, you on the cell phone and banging clothes hangers in your closet!). Luckily they were only there the last 2 days. Great little town where you can walk to grocery, bank, bakery and ecellent pizza restaurant. Easy access on/off highway and into Innsbruck. Breakfast was a huge spread. And the hotel folks (family-owned) were geat! I would highly recommend a stay here.

We have stayed here on two different vacations and even went out of our way to come back this year. Loved the small town atmosphere and the hotel staff. Nice breakfast and dining room also. View of Innsbruck is breathtaking.

This hotel is in a terrific location over looking Innsbruck and a beautifull old traditional building a very peacefull setting the only down side is that there is a working dairy right next door, so if the smell of cows annoy you then this is not the place for you. For me and my friends it was no problems as we all grew up in the country and used to dairys, it just added to the whole feel of the place. We loved it.

A great travelling stop over
We stayed for 2 nights to break our car journey from UK to Italy and the car ferry to Greece. It is near the Brenner motorway and overlooks the city of Innsbruck. It is a rural village with animals next door on a farm. We spent a day walking on local footpaths, enjoyed the hotel restaurant and a pizza from a nearby pizzeria in the village. Good parking outside the hotel, warm and friendly. Recommended.

Incredible views and indoor pool
The location of this hotel was absolutely fantastIc. The views from the Innsbruck side rooms were stunning. This hotel is truly hard to beat for the price, especially with an indoor pool and sauna add well as beautiful grounds to relax on. The restaurant breakfast was great, it was a full buffet with bacon, eggs, toast, coffee... A refreshing change from the typical pastries and hams typically found in the European breakfasts. We were quite surprised that Austria hasn't moved into the 21st century smoking laws as of yet that most m modern countries have now adopted. Expect a smoking side to the restaurant and the front desk clerk to be smoking as well. It kind of his you if you aren't used to it. However this isn't a lodgement against this hotel, it's everywhere. All in all out was our favorite hotel during our 2 week trip out of many. If you have a car it's only 5 mind from town and there is bus service.

The only reason I downgraded my review slightly on location is most people probably want to go to Innsbruck. We did not, we liked the rural atmosphere and small town setting. My wife was not impressed with the cow smell when we got out of the car, but when she got in the hotel she loved it. View overlooks Innsbruck and the prettiest of our trip. Back to the cow smell, there is a working dairy barn about 10 feet from the side of the hotel. I am a farmer so it was interesting to me to see how the Austrian's did thier farming. The little community has a Rewe grocery store nearby. Don't let my smell comments bother you, I just put it in as a heads up. We really enjoyed our stay.

Panorama und Ruhe
Wir waren für eine Nacht in dem Hotel (auf der Durchreise) und hätten gerne noch mehr Zeit hier verbracht. Das Zimmer ist offenbar erst kürzlich renoviert worden und hat uns sehr gefallen. Panoramablick auf die Berge und Innsbruck. Auch das Essen war sehr gut. Wir haben auch am Abend das Restaurant des Hotels genutzt, was sich sehr gelohnt hat. Gerne hätten wir noch Zeit gehabt in den Pool zu springen oder das Dampfbad zu nutzen. Auch der Service war super. Problemloser Check-in und Check-out. Kurzum alles was man sich für ein Hotel wünscht.

Prima hotel met fantastisch uitzicht op Innsbruck. Op doorreis een nacht verbleven en ook gegeten. Grote porties voor een zeer acceptabele prijs, net als de kamers. Zwembad voldoet net, bediening in het restaurant soms wat nors, voor de rest uitstekend.

Zimmer schön u.zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Viel Platz durch abgetrennten Sitz/Wohnbereich. Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf Innsbruck u.Bergwelt. Frühstücksbufett reichhaltig u.ausgewogen. Abendessen lecker. Einzig die Dusche ist von uns zu bemängeln. Nicht genug Platz durch 2 eingearbeitete Sitze u.nur eine schmale Schutzscheibe, dadurch Badboden "unter Wasser". Gesamturteil aber 2+

Das Hotelzimmer hatte gute Betten. Der Blick über Innsbruck (und die schneebedeckten Berge) war klasse. Negativ: Die Badewanne hatte keinen Duschvorhang. So musste man notgedrungen das Bad fluten. Der Teppich im Zimmer hat die beste Zeit schon hinter sich (alles voller Flecken etc.). Das Bett war klasse. Wir konnten sehr gut schlafen, bis um 7 Uhr (am Samstag, den 22.04.2017) in der Nachbarschaft/oder auf den Bergen die Kettensäge-Arbeiten gestartet wurden. Da waren wir dann doch bedient. Ansonsten war das Frühstück normal, mit allem, was man so braucht.
