Definitely not four star hotel

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Nothing
This hotel offers no 4star service or comfort.the room was very small ,uncomfortable bed more like a dorm, the smallest bathroom possible. Cleaning service is available from 10 AM to 1PM. As I was jet legged and overslept they could not service the room but I was offered to go to reception to get towels!! The staff is not helpful and give the impression you are bothering them . Definitively not a hotel, maybe hostel , would not recommend

Just one thing...

Pity that the soap dispenser in the nathroom didn't work. Otherwise, unremarkable in a positive way, and efficiently run. Strange area - in the middle of the local barracks!

Nice hotel

Huge loft room had great views over Innsbruck, but prefer my bathroom to be more private. Staff lovely and just a 20min walk from the old town. Neighborhood is ok, but expect to venture for a nice meal

Pros: The staff was great and the location of the hotel was great for seeing the town and getting to the mountain attractions.
Cons: A few times my room card needed to be reset, but the staff at the front desk was quick to help.
Location: The hotel was located close to the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof and was a great home base for mountainbiking as well as seeing the town.
The hotel was located close to the center of town. The staff at the reception desk were very friendly and went out of their way to help me. Probably some of the most friendly front desk workers I have ever met. The hotel was very clean and in good condition. I would definitely stay there again.

Too close to a busy street

Posted Aug 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was not air conditioned and was too close to a busy street and so too noisy in the night to have kept the window open. When we asked to be switched to a room with AC they said none were available. However they did give us a fan the next day. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the old town but we had a very nice view of the mountains from our window.

Small room

Posted Jul 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Seems they wanted to save room for special guests by cutting the space in our room. No A/C so the window had to be opened all night, which made it right over my head as I slept. Very noisy street. Not enough plugs and hair dryer was weak. Staff friendly food was good.
