Same breakfast for 4days. In one day bakery wasn’t baked. After 6pm no service. No kettle in rooms. Absolutely disappointed.

As we are a bed and breakfast we only offer breakfast. If you need more service you should better look for a hotel with half board or a restaurant. We are also a very basic hotel and one of the cheapest hotels in the region of Innsbruck. We would have kettles at reception for rental available. Sorry for this inconvenience.

A tad outdated in a quaint way. Comfortable and the location provided incredible views. I stayed three nights in summer and would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a quiet stay to explore Igls or be near Innsbruck.

Igls is a quiet, cute town, and so even though the hotel was out of Innsbruck itself there were places to eat at night (though not too late). Hotel has fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, at least from the dining area. Breakfast was a good, standard European buffet. Transportation into town was easy: the bus stop was at the bottom of the hill, and one came every ten minutes all day. WiFi was good. The restaurant owned by the Gruberhof was almost entirely out of food when we got there, and everywhere is a smoking section.

Great overnight near Innsbruck. Unfortunately asked for two double beds and got a double and a futon. Breakfast a bit expensive.

The amazing experience
We had an incredible experience at this hotel. The location is very good, with an incredible view of the mountains. The room was incredibly tidy, clean and cozy. We already have plans to return to Innsbruck and we will stay at this amazing hotel again.

Amazing stay at Hotel Gruberhof
We had the best stay at Hotel Gruberhof. Lovely setting with a stunning view of the mountains. Wonderful owners and staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful area - comfortable with friendly service
This family- owned inn/hotel was welcoming with a very comfortable room and great views. It was near Innsbruck in the beautiful town of Igls. I would stay there again as I prefer older Inns/hotels with charm & character. The breakfast was good and the people were friendly.

Fantastic 1 night
Amazing location, very clean room and very thoughtful service - they upgraded us for free to a room with a view of the mountains. Breakfast was delicious and had great coffee (it’s a rarity) Highly recommend!

Not worth the price
The area is very beautiful and suitable for hiking and cycling, and the hotel has a nice natural pool. However, we just had to use the hotel for a single night and went for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. The room was not worth the money. The bathroom was a tiny plastic box mounted inside the room, and the exhaust sounded loud when someone used the toilet or bath. The room was not the least bit cozy and we had to ask to get new bulbs in all the lamps. We ate in the restaurant and one of us got his main course 20 minutes before the others.

Charming Hotel in the Mountains.
A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. The rooms are charming and have everything you need and breakfast has a good selection. The staff are super helpful and always on hand if you need anything. A thoroughly pleasant stay.

Great little hotel in quiet village with wonderful access to great ski slopes. Dinner and breakfast were great. Only downside was having to shovel 3 feet of snow in car park after a blizzard hit the area!

A great option
Very good location, close to bus stops, supermarket and restaurants. Good size, comfortable apartment for 4 people, handy kitchen, seems new/renewed. Extremely friendly staff, great service.

Really great hotel! Has a nice little swimming lake and dock with the beautiful mountains as the backdrop. I stayed here twice on my way through to Italy. Close to the little town and whatever you might need. The staff were very nice and the room was perfect! I highly recommend :)

I stayed here twice on my way from Germany to Italy and back. The rooms are beautiful and also quaint (in a good way :) and there is a beautiful little lake to swim in, right in front of the gorgeous Mountain View. Everyone was so kind to me and spoke great English of course. Also very nice to my dog! And he loved his stay in nature... after being in busy Italy. Had a lovely Riesling at the restaurant in the sun. Not too hot in August! Convenient parking as well. I highly recommend!

Beautiful views in pleasant village by Innsbruck
Our room was spacious and nicely furnished, and had a beautiful outlook over the swimming pond and sun bathing area and valley and mountains. This part was very pleasing. The room had curtains but they are not blockout and no blinds / shutters which in my case means I'm awake as soon as it gets light. The extractor fan in the bathroom is so noisy i didn't want to use any lights at night as to not wake others up. Cleanliness of the room was just fine and well attended to, however the carpets in the hallways are old and stained and simply unappealing. The hallways are unpleasant with dark oyr varnish walls and also poorly lit on sensors that are spaced too far apart. The main way out of the building gets locked at night which i find very problematic in case of a fire as one can't easily get out. Staff was friendly and helpful and accommodating which we appreciated. Just make sure you get there before 6pm for check-in. Public transport / bus connection to the hotel's closest stop is every 30 minutes, alternatively a few minutes further down in the village the bus goes every 10 minutes during the week. If you have heavy luggage catch a taxi at 17€ from Innsbruck railway station. The hotel is still "sort of" ski in ski out as there is a small lift nearby. The main gondola going up the mountain, however, has been moved further up the mountain and the old one that the hotel had wonderful access to, decommissioned. The new one can be reached by bus.

I visit Innsbruck frequently and had a wonderful time staying at the Hotel Gruberhof. Stephan checked us in and made us feel very welcome, and even gave us an upgrade to a Mountain View room! The view was incredible, and the room very comfortable. We will definitely come back to stay at the Gruberhof!

Nice hotel, early check out
Very spacious room and beautiful scenery. Arrived around midnight and the key was left as promised. I was surprised that the check out was at 10am!!!

I dont know how the rest of the hotel rooms are; but our room wasn't good at all. The room is old and worn off; feels like things will fall off at any time. Very uncomfortable stay!

Dear Aliasgar, thank you for your booking and review. The booked room was at the time the cheapest quadruple room in Innsbruck and closer surroundings. Also in our Hotel we have different room categories, but for a different budget. The wooden furniture ia all carpenter made and all displayed clearly on the pictures of our house.. we are sorry that you had an unpleasant stay but also a opity you didn't let us know during your stay so we could have found a solution to make your stay more enjoyable!

I stayed here on Christmas Eve in route to another location. The hotel infored us before hand that all restraunts would be closed that evening and offered a 5 course menu that was wonderful!!! The staff also alllowed ust o check out late on Christmas Day with no extra charge!

A beautiful Snow covered Ski Hotel
Excellent Hotel and great value for money, but you will need a car. Innsbruck is a 20 minute drive and easy to get to. Very pretty ski orientated village and it even started to snow while we were there. Very Christmassy.

The view is Priceless!!!!
Overall this hotel was like a dream, but not because of anything special inside the hotel itself but the location. The hotel is steps away from a lift that takes you into the Austrain Alps witch was the highlight of our stay, but a trip up and dowm is priced at 50 euros. The hotel was dated but clean. Breakfast was 20 euros and very average! Would stay again.

Staff were great and really helpful! Was in good location. Hotel is old so very noisy when moving about, found the walls were paper thin, I could hear the room next to us using the toilet.
