True Austrian village experience with city comfort

Fantastic, true Austrian experience. Beautiful views, great staff, wonderful breakfast, good access to highway and downtown is just a short tram ride away. Walking distance to castle Ambras, IKEA and shopping centre.

Cozy and stylish

A charming boutique hotel near the Tirolean mountains. Great for a family or a romantic getaway. The personnel were extremely kind and helpful and the quality of service was very good.

Smart, comfortable hotel outside the city centre

Posted Jun 13, 2012
Pros: Rooms looked new and were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good.
Cons: Distance from the sights/train station
This hotel is on the outskirts of Innsbruck, tucked in between a few chalets, a small field/farm and a pretty church, so it feels almost like a village atmosphere, although it's only a few minutes' walk to a big shopping centre and IKEA. The staff told me that it would take 40 minutes to walk into Innsbruck city centre, but actually when I tried it it only took me about 20-25 minutes. There's a tram every 10 minutes that circles the train station and old town and drops you a few minutes' walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is really nice. Breakfast was great, with loads of lovely fresh breads. The decor is very contemporary and modern. I had a single room but it was lovely a roomy with a comfortable bed and high quality sheets that were nice to sleep in. The bathroom was lovely, with an enormous shower and everything looking newly decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and chatty with helpful suggestions. The room rate was reasonable and included breakfast and wi-fi. I was very happy.
