Older hotel in perfect location for OktoberfestPosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: Staff and location
Location: Close to main hbf and Oktoberfest showgrounds.
Great hotel that represented reasonable value for Oktoberfest. If you were travelling at a more feasible time of year I would go for something a little bit more modern/comfortable.

Good location, close to train station.Posted Sep 25, 2013
We chose this hotel as it was so close to the train station and a short walk to the city centre. The hotel is old, but clean and well kept. Good buffet breakfast was served in lovely dining areas. Our only complaint was getting a room so far away from the lift. This always happens when we book with Expedia, we get the worst room in the house! Overall we would reccomend this hotel, mainly for the location. The receptionist upon our arrival at 5pm Monday 23rd Sept, was very friendly and provided great customer service!!

Great for Train Travelers with Roller BagsPosted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: Convenient to train station. Good breakfast.
Cons: Can be a little smokey.
Location: Old Town restaurants only 10 minute walk. You can walk the hotel to the Ski Jump in one direction or the funicular up the mountainside in the other.
Quiet but very convenient to the train station. In less than 5 minutes you can take the walkway next to Burger King directly to the hotel entrance. There is a great little cafe and ice cream store across the street from the hotel. About 10 minute walk to the Old Town. Very good traditional Austrian breakfast included. My room had a view of snow capped mountain tops. Free wireless. Very good if you are traveling by train. If traveling by car, forget it. You are better off at a Gasthaus in one of the surrounding mountain villages.

Charming but modern hotel in excellent locationPosted Sep 13, 2013
Pros: Hotel is located about a 7-minute walk from the hauptbahnhof - ideal if you have a lot of luggage. Rooms are fully modernized.
Cons: Pillows were uncomfortable - too puffy. Refrigerator/mini-bar would not get very cold.
Location: City zentrum is about an 8-minute walk from hotel - loads of restaurants, churches, museums. Hungerburgbahn (and Alpenzoo) about a 15-minute walk.
Enjoyed a two-night stay in this excellent hotel, which is ideally located close to the hauptbahnhof and city zentrum. Hotel occupies an 18th-century building, but rooms are totally modernized. Restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended hotel.

Nicely renovated rooms in an older well kept bldg.Posted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: Boutique size and quaint outdoor beer garden. Excellent breakfast as well with friendly wait staff.
3 day extended weekend whereby I needed to be close to both the airport and the transit terminal on the west side of the city. Easy walking distance to the older section and City Center.

Thank you very much for your evaluation! We are glad that you could appreciate our position, next to the train station (therefore close to the airport – there’s a direct bus every 15 minutes) but close to the city center too! It’s easy to get into the party mood of the old town but if anyone needs a relaxing time, there’s our beer garden, open every day in case of good weather, where you can enjoy a cold beer or coffee, or have lunh/dinner in total relax. Thank you for your kindness towards our wait staff, I already passed your kind words to them! We hope to welcome you in our Hotel in the future!

Good hotel near both train station and downtownPosted Jul 16, 2013
We were visiting Innsbruck for a day only and traveling by train so we wanted a hotel near the train station from where we could also explore downtown. This hotel was great for this purpose, its a 5 minute walk to the train station and 10 minute walk from downtown. Located in a quiet street this hotel is nice, clean and comfortable. Staff was kind and accomodating. Good option for a quick stay.

A hotelPosted Apr 29, 2013
Pros: The room
Cons: The breakfast
Location: Near train station. 15min walk to centre.
Overall good. A short walk from the centre and an even shorter walk from the main train station. Staff speak English. A lot of attention has gone into the design / layout of the room and my stay was very comfortable and quiet. An area of improvement would be the breakfast, the buffet was not kept fully stocked or kept at a minimal level which put me off eating what I wanted - I wanted to leave something for the next person. Free wifi a bonus.

Great central locationPosted Apr 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Exceeded expectations. Friendly staff, convenient location and more than adequate rooms for the value. Breakfast was ample and dining options good. Great access to trains and buses for skiing and sight-seeing. Highly recommend. Traveled as 2 families of 4 and secured 4 rooms - 2 standard, 2 family suites.

Nice stayPosted Apr 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great location if travelling by train- just 5mins away, and close enough to the centre of town. Good value for money. Nice sauna steam room facilities-if youre prepared to get naked. Spent an enjoyable three nights here, room was clean and comfy(except for having one huge pillow that was too big!) and breakfast was pretty good(usual continental fare with nice croissants). Staff were smart and friendly(usually sat in the back office instead of reception though). One gripe was the see through shower and toilet(why oh why) in our twin room! Maybe ok in a double but not twin when they are right next to the beds. Recommended hotel.
