Pros: Everything. See above.
Location: Locationhj is excellent. It is in the foothills with wide views of the valley below and mountains in the distance. Many hiking trails/skiing nearby
Hotel Tyrolis is a work of loving art. The exterior is beautiful, the interior is gorgeous. The hand carved woodwork has to be seen to be believed. The banisters are intricate antique brass with brass statues and landscape paintings on the walls. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The restaurants is excellent with gourmet entrees. Location is very convenient for getting to Innsbruck (6 minutes) or the autobahn (2 minutes). The town of Zirl is picturesque and quiet. The views of mountains are wonderful.

A wonderful surprise.Posted Aug 24, 2013
Pros: It's atmosphere of charm, its location, the quality of its restaurant and its staff.
Cons: Perhaps one more person in the office at arrival time.
Location: The hotel is in Zirl, about 9km from Innsbruck. You can walk, visit Innsbruck, in winter all the seasonal sports are near.
When researching hotels for our vacation, I was looking for places outside of town that might offer something different than a big, modern hotel would offer. The Hotel Tyrolis is just such a gem. It's easy to find on the outskirts of Innsbruck and offers plenty of parking - getting to the hotel requires a car. When we got to our room, we were amazed! Not just a bedroom but also a living room and a fair-sized dining area. We could relax and watch TV or have breakfast in our room. The bedroom itself was very comfortable and, even though we were on the road side, was very quiet. The whole hotel is paneled in carved wood, ceilings included, and gave the feeling of long-established "old world" charm and elegance. We dined in the hotel restaurant and had a truly memorable meal of local specialties and a regional wine. We have traveled extensively and we can say that this is one of our favorite stopping places. We will certainly come back, if possible.

ENCHANTING & DELICIOUS. Great menu.Posted Jul 30, 2013
Pros: CLEAN & GREAT FOOD
Cons: air conditioning/ceiling fan
Location: walk about, shop, dine, take in alpine scenary, take short drives through the ALPS
RELAXING ALPINE EXPERIENCE, it was like stepping back in time. The hotel was just like an fairytale alpine cottage, (but much larger).

Great taste of AustriaPosted Jul 21, 2013
Cons: No A/C
Location: Small village but only 10-15 minutes away from Innsbruck.
The hotel has a lot of character and has a traditional feel. The breakfast is basic but was included in the rate so we did not expect much. The restaurant served good food and appeared to attract a lot of locals so there was a vibrant atmosphere in the evenings. The rooms were small and did not have AC so were extremely hot at night.

Cute hotel nice servicePosted Jul 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice hotel, clean and unique. The restaurant is good too. Only if they have AC in the room it'd be perfect.

Quaint and off the beaten pathPosted Jul 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was a quaint hotel away from city hustle/bustle and is in a neighborhood of houses. Nice architecture and dinner there was very good. Waitress was excellent (Anna) and spoke great English (a plus). Front desk was ok but not super friendly although that may be because in the morning they are working the continental breakfast AND the front desk. Room was clean and comfortable with nice balcony. Shower was very small!

ShamePosted Jul 11, 2013
Great looking place. A good overnight stop. However, there was a wedding going on the night we stayed and the lady running the hotel didn't make us feel particularly welcome. Some of the other staff were more friendly. Couldn't get the WiFi to work. Food was OK. If not for the wedding we may have had a better experience and the score maybe higher.
