Great hotel, just 5 minute stroll into old townPosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Relaxing comfortable atmosphere, never rushed or harried. Bed an bedding so comfortable, wanted to bring them home. Bath robes a nice touch and luxuri
Cons: Not a lot,
Location: Great location, right on the edge of theatre land and easy reach of everywhere, yet tranquil too.
Great place to relax, attentive staff, but not intrusive, friendly, very helpful from all staff at the hotel. Romantik by name romantic by nature, great bar, not big but cosy, excellent service. We stayed in a room at rear of hotel and couldn't hear any noise, yet only a few minutes walk into Innsbruck old town. Only stayed B & B for a week, but breakfast superb. We had evening meals and snacks around innsbruck, as plenty of good places to eat without costing the earth.

Charming old hotelPosted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Location, value (not cheap but excellent facilities for the money), service.
Cons: Lift was partially broken the three days we were there. Not a big deal for us, but it could be for someone else.
This is a charming old hotel that has been thoroughly modernized. The staff is excellent. The location is quiet but close to all main attractions. The restaurant is outstanding.

Well worth a visit.Posted Mar 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff in their traditional garb were very pleasant and helpful, nice bar downstairs, didn't eat there, so can't comment. it's five minutes walk from the old town and right next to The Galway Bay Irish pub which rocks. One thing to be careful of in Innsbruck is the amount of people I met who had come for a week and stayed for months to twenty years, I'm going back to find somewhere to live, absolutely loved the place, and I would certainly stay in the hotel again.

Excellent locationPosted Jan 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
A beautiful old hotel, with all the comforts. Our suite was facing the alps & had an attached terrace, with standard 4 star amenities. The room was comfortable & quiet. There were a couple of minor issues, we had a smaller bed than the standard queen but the hotel staff worked hard to resolve this. Room heating appears to be an issue, which we had read about in planning or stay. Thermostats & air-con seems to be non-existent & the hotel appears to have opted for "ultra warm" mode in all rooms to compensate for this. Slightly uncomfortable at times, and we resorted to opening windows & doors to ventilate the room. Apart from these minor issues, the service and attention to detail was excellent & efficient, with typical Austrian elegance & decorum. Breakfast & parking are not cheap, but that goes with the territory. Staff are to be congratulated for their multi-lingual capacity & politeness.... the overall impression of this hotel is an one of excellence. By the way, Innsbruck is a magical place to visit & the 2 day Innsbruck Card is excellent value for those keen to visit the Palace, Hofkirche, Folk Museum, Nordkette & Patscherkofel - ropeways & scenic areas.

Pleasant Hotel in InnsbruchPosted Jan 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was a comfortable boutique hotel located near the centre of Innsbruch. The rooms were clean and comfortable, ecclectically decorated. The hotel staff were very helpful with check in and check out, suggestions for meals and activities.

Very SatisfiedPosted Sep 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our visit to this Hotel. The little bar downstairs was charming. We were walking distance to the Old Town. This Hotel is 500 years old, it is well appointed. We were particularly pleased with the receptionist, Melanie who was quite the tourist aide.

Noise pollutionPosted Aug 26, 2013
Pros: The location and the receptionist.
We liked the location, but the non stop noise all night made the stray agony. I would not return.

Staff was not polite. Air conditioner did not workPosted Aug 8, 2013
Location: great location. a lot of historic places to go to.
This is my first time, and it will be my last. First, they need to replace the staff, they were not polite. Second, the air conditioners did not work properly. We rented 2 rooms, both rooms had problems with the AC. The only credit I give this hotel is the restaurant. It is very good.
