Hauptplatz 1 Mühlau, Innsbruck 6020 - Map
"Niciest hotel in Muhlau"
It was the fourth hotel in our Christmas journey. And it was the best one. Despite its location not so close to the city centre (it will take about 10-15 minutes to get to the hotel by bus (A or D. Do not trust Google - they have not ivb and vvt database!) or about 30 minutes to get by a walk) it's located in a very cute place. Moreover, this hotel is very cute inside. Not that standartitised rooms like in any chain hotels but the big, cute and spacious. Strongly recommended for anyone!

"Nice small town area"
We have stayed here on two different vacations and even went out of our way to come back this year. Loved the small town atmosphere and the hotel staff. Nice breakfast and dining room also. View of Innsbruck is breathtaking.

"A short stay at Innsbruck for the Christmas market"
Innsbruck is the capital of the tyrol and boasts several Christmas markets. Apart from the usual Gluwein, Bratwurst and chips and Gulasch suppe there are many stalls selling hand crafted items for Christmas. Sights to see: A trip up the mountain from the station near congress requires a train and two cable cars . Well worth the visit. A trip to the Stubai glacier is worth while if you want a drive out but is mainly for the skiers amongst you. Our hotel was on the outskirts of Innsbruck but getting in and out by tram was easy. The trams run every 15 minutes and costs 2 euros each way. If you are staying longer buy a card from the machine which is cheaper but don't forget to ratify it in the machine on the bus. Most of the locals do it this way. Everyone is friendly and the city is clean and tidy. There is no attempt to rip you off with tourist prices which are pretty stable across the area. Even in the mountain top restaurants which have you captive. Toilets are easily available everywhere and cost between 50 & 70 cents. Pay at machine or if in city centre at the bureau adjacent.

"Cosy traditional Austrian hotel"
We loved this traditional Austrian hotel, a little out of the city centre but easy to get to by tram 3. Well worth it. It's in a beautiful location looking up at the gorgeous Alps. Staff are lovely, breakfast great, free sauna and huge rooms. Would definitely stay here if I ever come back. There's a dairy around the corner with a fresh milk dispenser! the restaurant is fabulous too, no need to go out. We woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the church bells ringing.

"Central, modern hotel with fantastic views"
Booked a very last minute weekend trip from Zürich to Innsbruck Adlers is a very comfortable, modern hotel. We had a great stylish room with fabulous panoramic views of the mountains and city. The top floor bar and roof terrace are excellent. The buffet breakfast was lovely inc. the gorgeous muffins from Ruetz bakery. Looking forward to returning soon and next ski season.

"sporthotel 10 min to downtown Innsbruck by bus"
All flawless except an issue with front desk young lady on Thur eve. Parked my car in garage on arrival, was told "wherever you like, no parking reserve. possible", told staff car was in stall 11 until departure following Fri. On Thur eve this young lady quite abruptly asked to move car as they had booked 8 stalls for new guests (who apparently needed contiguous parking and my car was in the middle). Point made: could have informed me on Sun; also the impression of class A and class B guest is offensive (no explanation of need for 8 contiguous stalls provided either); no description of emergency or other urgent nature of matter was expressed, just "move it". Car was not moved (did not have time to do so and saw no reason to leave evening session of conference to do so). By 2 pm on Fri (after 11 am checkout) when we leftl the 8 important guests (my wording) had not arrived. So the whole deal was also irrelevant. This is the only problem I experienced there, will for sure go back next year for the same conference and will for sure park again in garage. By then the arrogant young lady will either be gone or will have been trained properly. Other than for this it is a great hotel, highly recommended even if some new staff may needs better training.

"Great location, Nice clean room, amazing breakfast"
I stayed at this hotel for three nights, all of which were wonderful. The room was maintained every day while I was out and about, including fresh towels. The breakfast was amazing each morning with excellent service. I had an early morning flight outand the night shift concierge was kind enough to provide me with a breakfast bag to-go, since I had already paid for it. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Pocket Guide: Innsbruck, Innsbruck Historic Hotels

Home to quaint shops on cobblestoned streets with the Alps serving as a backdrop, Innsbruck is a popular tourist destination. It has hosted the Winter Olympics twice and hosts the annual Four Hills Tournament ski jumping competition each December. Another top tourist attraction is the Golden Roof, built in 1500 and decorated with 2,657 fire-gilded copper tiles for Maximilian I, the Holy Roman Emperor.
