Friendly staff. Continental breakfast is the best I've ever had. The place is older but is very well maintained.

“Weekend trip to Lancaster.”

We have been to Lancaster many times, but have never stayed at the Travelers Rest Motel. We've always wanted to stay there and we're glad we did. The motel is near so many of the places we visit everytime we're in Lancaster (Kettle Kitchen, Kings, Country Road Flowers, etc.#. It was so convienent. We would walk around for a while and when we got hot #the heat index was in the 100's#, we went back to the motel to cool off. Also, it was nice not having to worry about the traffic and congestion #we usually stay out near Route 30#. The rooms were nice and along with the coupon to the Bird-in-Hand Restaurant #where we ate dinner#, the other coupons #which we didn't use#, and being able to use the pool at the Bird-in Hand Motel #which we did not do) it was a great deal.

“Great Hotel”

This is one of the Bird-In-Hand Family Inns, so we knew it should be kept up. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean this hotel is. It is an older hotel but very clean and easy to get in and out of. We could have also used the indoor pool and hot tub. at the main Inn down the road. A good deal for a cheaper rate.

Clean and friendly, would stay again anytime and recommend to everyone.

This was one of the cleanest hotel/motels we have ever stayed in. The a/c could have cooled a little better. Breakfast was wonderful! Will definitely stay there again!

Rooms were clean and staff were quick in the a.m. to do the daily clean up. Continental breakfast was really good. Convenient location. Good price for hotel.

“Free breakfast was really good!”

The breakfast provided free was better than we had expected. There was a large variety and the waffles were excellent. The breakfast area is small but inviting.
