Northern downtown hotel

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Large room with kitchen and sofa for relaxing.
Location: Walk everywhere. It is a small town.
The room we had included a kitchenette with 4 stove top burners and microwave. Also included a sofa and comfortable chair. We found this perfect for our needs as we do not like eating in restaurants all the time as we were on a 3 month car trip. This is in a far north town. People must realize that you do not have all the comforts of the big city, but honestly it was fine. We even gad AC and believe it or not the temp in Inuvik for the 3 days we were there was 28C.

Nice hotel in Inuvik

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Cons: THE "CONTINENTAL" BREAKFAST WAS PRETTY SPARTAN
Location: We were there for an Arts Festival. Other than that there is very little for the average traveler t do in Inuvik. There IS a THREE hole golf course.
Experience was fine. About what we expected. Only ONE restaurant in town open for diner so this is more than a bit out of the mainstream for travelers.
