Great Location

Pros: Everything and the breakfast that is included had a large variety.
We had to attend an event at the Wellstone Center and St. Paul Capitol. We were able to drive to Robert St. which was very close and that area had many places to eat from fast food to sit down restaurant.

No reservation when I arrived

Pros: Location
Reserved hotel through Expedia and was told that the confirmation number they had was under a different name and that it was cancelled. After a call I made to Expedia and 35 minutes later it was 'worked out'. My room with a king size bed was two doubles. Hotel was decent enough but the communication between hotel and Expedia was disappointing.

Very nice room with comfortable bed. Heater was quiet and room was clean.

Nice Stay

Stayed here for a night for a concert in St. Paul. Had a free night to use and decided to pick this hotel. The surrounding area is very quiet and calm. Nice eating place next door.

Sleepless at the Holiday inn

Stayed at this holiday inn express on a friday night. Had a trade show in st.paul and this was close. Slept about 3 hrs that night. I could hear everything from the rooms next to me and the thundering stomping on the floor above. Stayed in Room 205. I will say it was a nice facility but will never stay there again.

Bad experience at Holiday Inn Express in MN

Even though it says that it has wireless in the rooms, there was no signal whatsoever in the room. I call tech support and after several times that they claimed to have rebooted the system, there was absolutely no signal. The hotel next-door Microtel had strong signal in my room but nothing from Holiday in express. When I talked to front desk, they acknowledge that there are problems with the system but nothing has been done about it.

Daughter and granddaughter came to town we met up with them and had supper with family. I love that we had rooms with joining doors ~it worked out GREAT for us. Everything was good !!
