The hotel is located on the river at Inverness only a short walk to all of inverness's attractions. It has a great bar below and it is overall very comfortable and well priced. It is an older hotel but still very nice.

We were travelling for a couple of weeks in Scotland and have stayed in the Hotel just for one night.
Due to the lack of a private car park, our motorbike was parked in the street which is something that could be improved. Friendly and warm welcome.

The welcome and facilities at the hotel were good, the overall wedding function and food were superb although I was extremely disappointed that having spent what I would consider to be a top cost for a one night stay in a 4 star hotel I was asked for a further payment to have breakfast. I refused to do this on principle as I felt at nearly two hundred pounds for a night a breakfast would be included.

Inverness is the most northerly city in the British Isles and lies in the heart of the vast Scottish Highlands. Ness Islands Walk takes visitors upstream from the city centre, where the cathedral and war memorial can be spotted on the approach to the small islands in the middle of the river. Inverness is a great base for exploring; the city is around 21 km from the shores of the renowned Loch Ness.
