Was decent for a stay with dogs. The room was clean & smelled great. Bed was comfy. Coffee pot in the room would not work. There was a lot of trash in the grass & it needing a good mowing but I would still stay there again.

Broke, busted and disgusted
My wife and I lived in Iola before moving away ten years ago. We remembered when this hotel and the movie theatre next door were built and how wonderful it was when we lived in Iola. However, we very very saddened by the dilapidated condition of both. The hotel has not been updated in some time, and needs a deep cleaning. there was a dried, crusty food spill on the bed cover and some kind of stain on the sheets. The corners of the bathroom tile had collected dirt from mop water and need attention. The breakfast was a bad joke, with an opened package of cookies still in the plastic, some bread that had been left for some time and two packages of instant oatmeal. For hot items, one small 9x9 pan of gravy, what looked like had been scrambled eggs and some deformed clumps of dough. All of these had been eaten by 7:15 (breakfast started at 7:00) and were NEVER replenished. The bathroom and pool area were filthy. The parking lot was filled with several articles of clothing that were there when we checked in, and again the next morning. Obviously management doesnt care about such things. There are better hotels in Iola and further down the road in Chanute.

I can’t get any local tv stations, which I always watch when I’m traveling for the best weather information. Feel free to leave more little packets of coffee for me to brew. Otherwise, it wasn’t too bed!

Extremely noisy thru the evening and beginning again at 615 am. Sounded like someone above had metal boots and was using a crowbar to dismantle the dry wall and ceramic tile. We have been continual users of this motel for many years and doubt we will return because of this experience.

I realize that the breakfast selection at Super 8’s are not supposed to be a sumptuous affair, but the offering at this hotel was pathetic. Also, there was only one container of coffee and it ran out early with no effort made to make more. Very disappointing..

Pancake machine didn't work. 3 days in a row our card keys wouldnt work and staff isn't always at the desk to help we did have the shower curtain rod fall and it was repaired the same day.

Overall the room was good but the bathroom shower curtain was ready to fall off of the wall, the toilet paper holder was loose the toilet was loose at the floor and at the plumbing wall to the shower faucet there was a large section of sheetrock cut out and reinstalled but never finished. Breakfast was terrible, I wouldn't even call it breakfast.
