We really enjoyed our stay here- toral of 7 days. Loved the private pool we had, it is maintained very well! Beach was a very close walk, with good lawn chairs and beds. Clean towels provided daily. Breakfast is delicious and fresh food daily. Pool also great size and comfortable chairs/shade around. The staff was incredible! This was definately a highlight. So warm, welcoming and helpful. With a baby we needed more than the average guest and they got us everything we needed. Cons-there was no bathtubs for our 1 year old baby. The website says there is a gym but the gym was outside and very hot, equipment was dusty and dirty and it lacked equipment. Treadmill was not usable, as it was too small and flimsy. Running along the beach was really nice though and smooth!

Incredibly relaxing environment at this property. We loved the neutral, modern beach aesthetic of the resort and our Deluxe Suite. Easy walk to Mylopotos Beach and a very attentive staff in person and via room phone. Taxi service from the resort to anywhere on the island was quick and easy. Costa's ATV rental located next door is an additional bonus.

The location was absolutely perfect in terms of proximity to beach and the local bus into the village. The staff offered amazing recommendations for restaurants and Pathos view point. The hotel restaurant Almyra served delicious food and the staff in general were wonderful! Thank you for an amazing stay!

This hotel is incredible. The service provided by the staff is some of the best that I have ever experienced. The room that we stayed in was everything we needed, with a nice little balcony & all that we required for our 3 night stay. The pool, restaurant & sun loungers at the beach really make this place a true delight. The pool was very quiet and we loved relaxing there after going to the beach. The restaurant is amazing, the included breakfast is top quality with a wide range of food available. We also had lunch & dinner at the restaurant which was perfect. This place is topped off with the included sun loungers at the beach. The loungers are perfect & the beach is incredible. We would definitely return here, some of the most relaxing days & a perfect stay as part of our honeymoon trip around the Greek islands. Thank you so much.

First time traveling to Ios, hotel is not by the sea-side. You need to walk, its not that far, but I had thought it was on the water, across the street. We were traveling with 2 teenagers and the bathroom door is glass, so there is ZERO privacy for anyone. I would recommend they fix this. Very uncomfortable for my teen daughter. I also wanted to add that we had selected the "pay at the property" option and I was charged in advanced for the whole stay before even arriving. I did try to go thru the chat on hotels.com and got nowhere. they wanted a copy of the credit card bill which i was having trouble cutting and pasting to them. Know this in advance if traveling here!

The description is misleading. It's certainly not a "sea side" resort. It's down a rocky dirt road and beyond the actual coastal hotels. We had some scheduling issues, and despite plenty of availability, they were not willing to accommodate our issues. Go stay at the Hide Out Suites or some other property with an actual view of the water.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. It’s a beautiful hotel, everything from the room to the pool area and seafront restaurant and breakfast area. The beach itself is in a beautiful bay and fine sand and turquoise water. We would definitely come back.

Fantastic Hotel, Fantastic Location
Such a beautiful hotel. The staff are so friendly & welcoming, they will go the extra mile for you. The breakfast selection each morning is excellent. Two pools are perfect to dip in and out of when it is hot. Pool side service is fantastic - eat lunch & have drinks by the pool on one of the seats or beds available. Room is a very decent size, ours had a small balcony. Beach is so close - just across the street, it is perfect. And the staff even serve you whilst you’re lying on the loungers at the beach! Absolutely fantastic. Only thing I’d say is, if you’re a light sleeper, maybe bring ear plugs and the noise of the crickets can be loud at night but that is no fault of the hotel - just nature! The location is brilliant, restaurants near by or you can get the bus right outside the hotel, into the town, for only €1.60. The buses come frequently so definitely worth travelling into the Chora.

Lovely stay but some issues
All in all we had a lovely stay though there were some issues. The rooms were decent but nothing special, even with an upgrade - we did have an incident of flooding where the loo packed up and the bathroom smelt faintly of sewage one day (presumably they were linked?) but the hotel resolved the issue promptly. Breakfast options were fairly limited and we were very much bored of the options by the end. The pool / private beach combo were great though I can see how the pool’s charm could be spolit by multiple small children playing all day as happened on our last day. Perhaps not the best resort for non families?

Gorgeous property and even though it’s technically not right on the beach, it’s very close and they are partnered with a restaurant and bar that is on the beach. They also have free beach cabanas that you can use. Their pool is very nice and it has a bar there if you need food or a drink.

Our stay was great. They had a good selection of food for breakfast and the food in the restaurant was very good as well. The beach across the street was wonderful. It was nice and quite. Very relaxing and the water is so clear and blue. The only negative thing would be that there is only one outlet in the hotel room. We did notice when we were leaving that there was an adaptor that can plug in where more then one electronic can be plugged in. We weren’t sure if this was provided by the hotel or if someone for got it there.

We checked out 2 days early as the hotel room was very basic . We booked an executive room with a pool / sea view but not sure this was provided albeit the hotel staff insisted it was . We asked for an option to upgrade of which we were informed that they would look into it but again no response from staff . Breakfast was also extremely poor .

The location was perfect. Close to gorgeous beaches and nice restaurants/bars. Thought the room could have been a little cleaner. There was a stain on the wall... maybe I am being picky... it was definitely fine to stay just some things that I noticed. Not buggy at all. Mykonos is windy and the doors and windows would shutter periodically which got irritating while trying to sleep. The pool was amazing. Beautiful flowers. The service and the staff were soo nice. Welcome drink served upon arrival. I would stay again when all is said and done.

This place is amazing, the staff are so helpful and friendly. The room is ultra clean and very modern, and this place puts most 5 star hotels to shame Wonderful pool area and gardens and the location is set back from the road and beach which is only a few metres away

Great hotel with even better staff
We had such a lovely stay at Dionysos Hotel. All the staff were so lovely but in particular Nikos. He couldn’t do enough to help and was such a friendly face behind reception. The hotel is very clean and in good condition. The only criticism we had was that we didnt feel the decor of the rooms reflected the sleekness of the rest of the hotel. We paid to upgrade to a ‘superior room’ and again was left a little disappointed by what that gave us. But otherwise a fabulous stay in a great hotel!

This place looks and feels exactly as their site advertises. The staff went out of their way to make my experience wonderful, Almyra is an amazing restaurant, and everything about this place made my trip relaxing and beautiful. Highly recommended!

Nice and clean hotel that is close to the beach
We’re very happy with the stay at Dionysos. The staffs were excellent and made great recommendations and guides for our holiday plans in Ios, we particularly loved his animated chats with us. The hotel is located very close to the beach. The hotel provides tanning beds and towels by the beach, very convenient. Almyra, their restaurant served really great food and service. We had a great stay and we highly recommend Dionysos.

Wonderful
We had a great time at the resort. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The service was friendly and professional. We were there for a wedding and needed to iron our clothes for every occasion but the hotel didn't have enough irons in house. They immediately bought five extra irons to accommodate our needs. We were very impressed by the friendliness and the quality of service. We would highly recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.

Can highly recommend this hotel. Very pleasant room, great location, lovely staff. Very relaxed atmosphere throughout. The only downside to our room was that the shower drain smelled a bit funky. In fairness to the hotel, we didn't complain to the reception as it wasn't bad enough to make a fuss. If we'd been staying for longer than a couple of nights we would probably have asked for something to be done. Whenever we did have any kind of issue, such as difficulty accessing the safe, it was resolved immediately.

Perfect location for a relaxing holiday
This hotel was in an excellent location just set back from the beach and just a stroll to cafes. Very relaxing area with the large sandy beach and the rocky hills surrounding the area. The hotel was tastefully designed and our room was very comfortable and clean with a pleasant terrace. We loved the swimming pool area and the nice deep pool. We only had two nights here as we were island hopping but I would love to come back for a longer stay here and perhaps experience some of the hotel's health and wellbeing treatments. I would highly recommend this hotel.

You won't be disappointed...
Beautiful hotel with stunning gardens. The staff couldn't do enough for you and always had a smile on their face - especially the lovely lady running the pool bar. The pool was beautiful, breakfast was delicious and you're just steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen! The room was kept clean and was bright and airy with a lovely little balcony covered in pink flowers. Only a couple of 'cons' to point out. We had one plug socket in the whole room, meaning we had to keep switching the items that needed charging. We didn't have tea or coffee making facilities but a kettle was provided when we asked for one. However, we found that when it was switched on, the electric went off in the room?! It also did this when I used my own hair dryer?! It did make me wonder if that was the reason there was only one plug socket? Could the room not cope with multiple/higher voltage items being used? Not a massive issue but something the hotel might want to look into (we were in room 130). The only other thing, and again, it's only a minor point, but it would be great to have a bit more variety with the music around the pool. We spent quite a lot of our week there and it became a bit of a joke between us that we could guess which song was coming on next! Not the end of the world, but something that I thought could be easily rectified if feedback was given. All in all, we had a lovely stay at the hotel and would not hesitate to come again.

Nice hotel close to the beach
Our room is cute modern and tucked away, but does not have WiFi because it is too far out. To get WiFi we must walk out a good 50 metres. Room also doesn't get cleaned until almost 6pm. The resort has a nice pool though, and has a nice path to one of the best beaches in Ios. Be prepared to spend on drinks, the staff will be watching you like a hawk and will stop you from drinking from water bottle - you must buy from their restaurant / bar.
