Great placePosted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: After checkin, the lady took us thru a map of area, showing us beaches, markets, etc. no other place has done this for me. Much appreciated .
Cons: Size of bathroom.
Location: Close to village, to port and beaches.
It's a great hotel, with some amazing views. Great pool. Maybe 10 minute walk into the village. Only thing I didn't like was size of the bathroom, I had trouble fitting in.

Lovely family run hotelPosted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: The family who own the hotel are very friendly and happy to share their local knowledge with you. The hotel also has a beautiful pool area.
We first stayed at Homer's Inn back in the 80's and really enjoyed it. Having recently rediscovered it, we have been staying there every year and it's even better!

Great place to stay in IosPosted Oct 1, 2013
We only stayed 1 night but would definitely stay at homers if coming back. Friendly and helpful staff who picked us up and dropped off at ferry, clean and comfy rooms, great pool and handy to everything.

Can't Go Wrong Staying at Homer's Inn Hotel!Posted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
I highly recommend staying at Homer's Inn Hotel in Ios. Vaggeli and his family are incredibly accommodating and friendly. From large, clean rooms, to high-speed WiFi and satellite tv, coupled with great views and a large pool to relax at, the hotel was a great experience. A bus stop to the main city and Mylopotas Beach is literally across the street from the hotel and run rather frequently.

Lovely Modern HotelPosted Aug 6, 2013
Pros: Location, modern facilities, friendly hosts
This place was great from start to end. We were picked up from the port and shown to a lovely room in a complex separate from the reception area. We had our own balcony and a nice modern and clean room. The hotel is located on the road between the port and the main town, it was a pretty easy walk to the main town but we spent most of our time at the port town as it had all we needed and a nice beach. There is also a pool at the hotel which is really nice - we didn't use it as we were keen to go to the beach but it would be great if you were just looking to relax without having to go far. We loved the hospitality at Homer's inn - the family are really friendly, they took the time to show us the local attractions and walkways on a map when we checked in, and provided a great breakfast for a good rate.

Family Run HotelPosted Jul 18, 2013
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Noisy guests late at night
Location: Great spot just up from the port, bus stop opposite
Lovely family run hotel, well situated within easy walk of the port and not too far from Chora (althought its quite steep). Nicely appointed room, clean pool area, some slighly noisy guests as to be expected on Ios so bring ear plugs if you like an early night

Great ServicePosted Sep 15, 2012
We were lucky to have been upgraded to a family room as we had so much luggage, We were shown a standard room, and I am very glad I wasnt staying in there as it was very very small inside a rather old creepy building. Our room was great, we had only a small problem with ants and the room smelt a little like cat wee so we bought an air refreshner which helped. The staff were great tho and told us everything we needed to know about the island. I'd recommend staying there but I'd advise you to got a family room.
