Beautiful hotel. Very clean and up to date.

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Cons: Beds were a little hard.
Location: Beautiful town. Right on the river. Had a nature park close!
We arrived around 10pm. Friendly hotel staff greeted us. The hotel lobby was very clean, high ceilings and some nice seating by a fireplace. Even had fresh chocolate cookies for us in the lobby. Yum The pool area is very clean, had a large hot tub. Breakfast in the morning had a large selection of food. Cereal, muffins, donuts, waffles, ham, biscuits, milk, juice, toast, yogurt, cottage cheese and more. Saved my family of 4 at least $30-40. We didn't have to dine out!!! Great hotel. Definitely recommend!!!

Pros: Cleanliness and friendliness.
Cons: The stuffiness smell in almost al hotels.
Location: The location is on the edge of town which I like as it is quiet. Downtown offers dining and shopping as well as a river walk.
Hotel was nice and clean and everyone was very friendly!

Quiet Hotel in Iowa Falls

Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: It was close to who i was visting. It was quiet. Low taxes.
Cons: They could have been more thorough with cleaning. Morning breakfast basically had pastries and waffles. How about some eggs and bacon.
Location: Its a small city in Iowa, there's nothing to do. There was bowling alley next door. Looked run down and closed, but my friend said they do go there.
We checked in late on a Sunday night. There was 1 member of the staff on duty. She was nice. They do not have any elevators. It is only 2 stories so that is not a big deal. Room is heated and cooled with window units. Smelled good inside hotel and room. Cleaness of room is just OK because the toilet had brown residue left from the previous occupant. I think we all know what that was. The rest of the room looked clean from what i could see.

Very nice place to stay

Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: Convenient, clean, comfortable, helpful staff
Cons: No elevator - just not sure why any hotel would be built with 2nd floor rooms and no elevator??
Stayed here for a visit with friends. Lots of activities at the hotel - lobby was full most of the time. Breakfast area wasn't very big for as many people staying for the weekend but food was always available during the breakfast times. Room was clean and neat - had everything I wanted.

Watch out for the tax.

Posted Oct 29, 2013
I booked 5 hotels in Iowa for a week's long business trip. This was the only hotel that charged additional for tax. All the other hotels included their tax in the Expedia total. I would have choosen a different hotel had I known it would be $10.00 more a night than the others that were listed on the Expedia website. What's the point in sorting by price, if some will be able to add on charges and others do not?

Location: Small town in Iowa, we attended the county fair.

Room Keys/Towels

Posted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: nice complimentary breakfast
Room keys wouldn't work for over two hours to outside doors or room. Stayed 2 nights, room service took our towels from first day didn't replace.
