Days Inn Hotel Spencer Ia

We loved our room and mostly enjoyed the breakfast spread! We had biscuits and gravy, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal and doughnuts. Not too many hotels offer all that for continental breakfast! We also enjoyed the pool. I highly recommend the Days Inn.

We enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn in Spencer very much. Room was clean and staff was friendly. My only observation was that the hot tub was not so clean. Pool was great. Breakfast was good and we would stay again.

Overall our stay at this hotel was fine. The first morning we were there, the breakfast bar was not amply stocked. The waffle machine was empty, there were no biscuits left to make the biscuits & gravy, the coffee was gone, and the orange juice was empty. We asked the employee at the desk if someone could tent to the breakfast bar and she said they would get to it as soon as possible. She refilled the waffle machine but nothing else. Also the air conditioner in our room wouldn't stay on so the temperature of the room kept changing. The house-cleaning did a less than stellar job cleaning the room. We didn't get any fresh towels or washcloths, the iron was left on the floor, a few cups were left on the bed-stand, and the ice bucket was still full of water. It was obvious that all the house-cleaning did was make the bed. As I said though, our stay was fairly pleasing. Just little things that could have been addressed a little better by the staff.

The staff was very friendly and accomdating. The hotel was quite clean and the upgraded rooms were especially roomy. We had a family reunion and blocked about 10 rooms. The staff was definitely able to accomodate our varied needs.

We were in town to visit family. This was a GREAT hotel! Nice and clean. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Great experience. We will return when we are back.
