Outsanding classy place to stay. Welcomed us even when we booked last minute and late 10pm. Got mik and water for us before we went to bed. Clean rooms and facilities. Breakfast was excellent. Best place to stay in that area hands down.

Nice breakfast, nice bloke running the B&B, nice hot tub! Plenty of tea and coffee etc. Near-ish to the town, bit of a struggle walking up the hill if you don't have a car. Bedroom and breakfast room need a thorough dust. Would stay here again.

Service was exemplary and 10/10, but sadly the age of the building was evident and tired! In desperate need of fresh paint and new ( or cleaned) carpets. I'd expected a little more cared for facility for the price! The staff were super helpfull and deserve full compliments of this traveler!

Got a double room for 4 nights for £198. Great value, room was on second floor and was spacious and clean. My friend on the first floor complained of car noises but I guess it's inevitable. It's right next to the river so pretty great if want to go for a jog. It's about 7 minutes walk from rail station.
Staff are great but they sometimes need more people at the reception, there's always a queue to check in.
We also visited the gym, it's a small room with two treadmills (one broken), one bike and one lateral pull down machine and some meds ball and dumbells (1-3kg).
