The Hotel Mueller is a small hotel near Munich City centre just 1 minutes walk from the Sendlinger Tor Underground. It is a three star hotel and represents fantastic value for the cost. We had a lovely modern cosy room, well furnished and comfortable, with fridge and safe. Bathroom and shower were brilliant. Beds very comfortable. While there are few frills ( eg no bar or lounge) it was the perfect location for us being just a 10 minute walk from Marienplatz and with easy underground (U-Bahn) access. The area was relatively quiet but there are loads of restaurants and bars within easy reach. The staff very very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The buffet breakfasts were superb with an extensive range of cold and hot options - a wonderful range of breads, cakes, meats, cheeses, home made jams, complemented the usual bacon/eggs/wurst etc. Endless tea/coffee/juices were also on offer. The hotel was immaculately clean. We are already planning to return to Munich which has so much to offer and anticipate returning to this Hotel. The guests were not predominantly from the UK and the hotel had both a local and cosmopolitan feel to it which was just what we wanted. Thank you Hotel Mueller for a great relaxing 5 days!

The hotel's location is a plus, it is clean but outdated. The rate includes a fantastic all you can eat breakfast bar. The rooms are well equipped with a fridge, stove and a coffee maker - the appliances are old but functional. My experience with half the staff was very good - especially with Ralph and another young lady (forgot her name). Ralph was attentive and willing to provide me with tons of information. The rest of the staff was bothered whenever we ask a question and/or ask for directions. I would consider staying there again mainly because of the location.

"Great location, great Price, very nice facilities."
it is a very nice hotel perfectly located two blocks from metro station and walking distance from Marienzplatz and Viktualienmarkt. The Price was excellent, it was perfectly clean and the breakfast (not included) was very complete and tasty. Great for business, Friends or couples... probably not for big families. It is also good for long stays as it has a kitchenette in the room and a big closet.

For a 3 Star hotel the setup of the room was so smart. Very modern facilities and clever use of space, e.g. the door that closed 2 different ways in order to provide privacy for either the toilet room or the shower. The shower was great with both a hand held or overhead spray. And it was a huge walk-in shower room. The pillows & duvets were soft as marshmallows. Slept great!

I was immediately impressed when I arrived at the A! Apartments. The guy on the desk, like all the staff, was friendly and helpful speaking very good English. The room was clean and well appointed with a shower which worked perfectly every time. the balcony gave a great view up and down the street. Best of all was the location next to Poccistrasse Metro entrance - this meant you could go from bedroom door to Marienplatz in around five minutes. Some lovely little cafes and bars within 3-5 minutes walk (Saustanz for instance). I hope to visit Munich again sometime and will definitely try to stay at the A! Apartments.

"Nice intimate design hotel in artsy neighbouhood"
I stayed at the hotel barely one week after it opened, so it was very clean.
Despite what they say about being different, it remains a hotel nonetheless.
There is a nice terrace with a bar. Being popular with a cool local crowd, I could not find a seat on the terrace to have a drink during the evening, so I had to go out, which is unfortunate if I can not enjoy the hotel facilities.
Being a design conscious architect, I appreciated the aesthetics.
There are a few design quirks I have to mention. The women at the reception did not seem interested in hearing my suggestions, so I will express them here:
For information purposes, I had room 405.
1. There are not enough lights in the room. There is a black wall opposite the bed that is completely dark.
2. The lamp on the desk is insufficient.
3. There are not enough electrical plugs to plug the hotel gadgets and a charger for example. So you have to make choices.
4. The thick carpet in the corridor will get ruined very soon, especially since you have to go outside from the reception to get to the corridor.
5. Same comment about the think carpet in the room, it is not a good choice in the long run.
6. The quilted wall against the bed is nice and comfortable. But already you could see trace of people's head leaning against it.
7. The shelf under the mirror is too high in the bathroom. I understand they had to conceil the toilet tank. Nonetheless, there are alternative design solution. I will let them figure it out.
