“Great location and ammenities”

Althought this is an older hotel, the location -- walking distance from the central bus "depot" (very tiny town so it's a bit of a misnomer), ferry/hydrofoil landing, walking/shopping streets, and a row of at least 20 harbour view outdoor restaurants -- it is well maintained. The room was spacious, the bathroom updated with blue tile and an ocean motif, with a large shower, toilet and bidet. There are two pools -- one outdoor up on the roof overlooking the water, and plenty of chaise lounges to relax. There is also a full service spa, which we didn't have time to take advantage of. Buffet breakfast included was excellent with the requisite meat and cheese as well as yoghurt, fruit, at least 5 or 6 sweet cakes and doughnuts, cafe au lait or cappoccino delivered to the table. About a mile walk to Castle Aragonne. Would definitely return.

“want to go back next summer”

We spent our vacation together with the son aged 14 and found the hotel to be very comfortable. Its location is perfect, close to everything. The only problem is very poor English of the staff. But still, all the staff is very friendly and always ready to help.

The hotel was lovely, Great location and really friendly staff providing advise on where to eat and go. The Spa provides very good treatments, Rooms are clean and well maintained. We had a great stay and would reccoment to others

“Best Hotel in Ischia.”

We visited the Aragona Palace Hotel in July 2009 and found it to be well worthy of its 4 Star accreditation. It has an excellent location by the harbour, shops and restaurants although the Hotel restaurant is well worth dining in. The staff are always willing to make your stay a memorable one, and they are always on hand to provide information or help. They are always professional in whatever they are asked. The room was exceptional in quality and cleanliness. The facilities are well maintained. The Aragona Hotel is definitely a hotel we would visit again.

“Ischias best value”

The Aragona Palace was ideally located, within walking distance to and close to the ferries, restaurants, shopping, bus station. All of the hotel staff were friendly and courteous and went out of their way to answer questions and provide additional information. The food was good and quite a variety at breakfast. The roof top pool was very nice and relaxing, with awesome views. The in room computer system couldn't be beat. The room size, decor, cleanliness and the adjacent outdoor patios off of the rooms were as good as and better than most accomodations on the island of Ischia, including a 5 star "leading hotel of the world" that we had stayed in before. The Aragona Palace was by far the best value and can't be beat. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

“First Class!!”

A great hotel in a great location with top staff! The hotel appears to have just been refurbished, and both the rooms we stayed in were spotless and well furnished. The first room was a standard double, and was good, but we took the chance to upgrade to a room with a balcony a view over the harbour. What a good move; the view was outstanding, and the breeze most welcome! The staff were great, and couldn't have been more helpful. The location is superb, right on the port, with loads of restaurants and bars close by. No hesitation at all in recommending this hotel.

This hotel is a great base from which to see Ischia island and the management go out of their way to assist in all aspects of your holiday. Restaurants in and around the hotel are very good and the best shopping is a short walk away.

“Great place to stay”

We stayed here at the beginning of June 2008 and found it a really great lace to stay. The hotel is extremely well located just a 50m walk from ther ferry terminal in Ischia Porto. Ask for a sea view room and you get good view of all the harbour action. Location also great for island travel as only 5mins from the bus terminal. Hotel food was good (half board option well worth it) and the staff in all areas were just great and so helpful.

“Great Harbour View from the Balcony”

Fantastic stay at the Aragona Palace, Ischia is well worth a visit. I Strongly recommend getting a room with a balcony overlooking the harbour, the other rooms at huge balcony's but no view at all. Made full use of the Pools and Sauna everything was well maintained and spotless. Ischia is a bit pricy though or is it just the euro at the moment? Definitely going back!!
