The view was amazing from our balcony (very nice to see the sunrise!). The staff were super friendly and informative about traveling around Ischia. The breakfast was delicious, and the dinner service was superb (with still an amazing view). The bed was a bit hard for my taste and the air conditioner and the refridgerator didn't seem to cool things as I would expect them to, but overall still recommend this place

Lovely place
Amazing views from the terrace and food in the restaurant was delicious with a great wine selection. The hotel doesn’t have a pool so that would be the only thing stopping me from having a longer stay. Beautiful staff and views across the island and port to the castle

The staff was friendly, efficient and despite our lack of Italian, made every effort to help us in every way. An excellent stay in a lovely place. It was a 15 minute walk to town, granted uphill to return to the hotel, However, the quiet and the view were completely worth it. Important to us, the beds were very good.

Wonderful. Our room was beautiful, large, and immaculate. The views are as breathtaking as in the photos on the website. We had a lovely terrace with beautiful roses. Breakfast was very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can easily walk down to Ischia Porto and to Cassimicola. We loved everything about our stay and would stay there again.

August 2015 stay basic hotel
Stayed here in August , only 1km from the port but up a steep hill both ends. No swimming pool here like other hotels close by, rooms much more basic than photos advertised , mini bar prices expensive for 3 star hotel which this hotel is classed. Breakfast ok nothing special. It would be good if the hotel offered a complimentary shuttle bus regularly service for guests to accommodate them and provide a puck up from the port .

When we arrived, we decided to walk to the hotel... It was a steep walk all up hill. Got a good workout. Hotel has an amazing view. We only stayed one night but enjoyed our time. Rodolfo was great and recommended a nice restaurant for dinner- Coco Gelo. Yum!

Nice hotel.
We had the comfort room which has a very nice view. The breakfast on the terrasse is great : very good and copious with a fantastic view. It is a long and hilly walk to reach the hotel.

Ultra small shower
The environment and the view are very nice, the staff is kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the good things end here! I haven't read any reviews that the bathroom is terrible! It's all very small! The shower cabin is a nightmare! The shower tray is 60x60 cm, the shower hose hangs in your face when you shower! It is impossible to bend down, but it is difficult to move either! I think my partner and I are average-sized people, 175-180 cm tall and 85-95 kg, but it was a challenge to wash in this shower! The toilet seat is the cheapest crappy plastic. It was cleaned properly, but the whole place shows that it was renovated a long time ago, which makes it unfortunately feel neglected, even if it is clean. The mini fridge is also rusty and has no shelves. Patio furniture is the cheapest plastic. Do not put your elbows on the table, because it will collapse. The clothes dryer is rusty. There is a small TV, but there are only Italian language channels. It's true, we didn't come to watch TV, but it would have been nice to have at least a couple of English-language channels, or a smart TV where we could watch TV in our own language with our own tickets. We didn't put it in the closet because it had a musty smell. The bed is comfortable, although one half was a little creaky. Two single beds were pushed together, not a double bed, but this would not have been such a problem. The 1 pillow was a bit flat for me. We expected slightly better conditions for a 3-star hotel! Es würde auf Wünsche und Beschwerde sofort eingegangen. Da die Küche über uns war, war es doch sehr laut und wir haben ein anderes Zimmer bekommen - ohne Aufpreis. Die Betten sind trotz Austausch unbequem gewesen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Rum med utsikt och bra service
Hotellet har den bästa utsikten man kan tänka sig. Grupper kommer och beundrar den från hotellets bar. Det är värt att ta sig från hamnen och ca 1,5 km i uppförsbacke. När vi besökt hotellets restaurang fanns inget behov av att vara nere i byn mer. God mat serverad med graciös vänlighet. Rummen har en liten terass med utsikt. Det bästa med hotellet är personalen. Alla talar inte så bra engelska men hjälper till med allt de förmår. Frågade efter en separat hårfön, den på väggen är inte så effektiv, och två timmar senare hade jag en nyinköpt perfekt hårfön! Återvänder gärna till denna oas och vänliga service.

Prachtig uitzicht. Niet bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer. Ligt aan een weg met 10% stijging. Minstens 20 minuten lopen vanuit de haven. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Schone kamer, zeer kleine (goede) douche.

Fantastic stay
We had a lovely stay at Villa Ireos! Fantastic view over the city, helpful staff (only one speaks English but everyone is really helpful no matter of language skills), nice breakfast, comfortable room with a small private terrace with sea view. Only trouble we had was that the map from hotels.com showed the wrong location - the hotel is located a 20 minuters walk from Porta up a hill. So if you have any trouble with walking but want to stay at the hotel, be prepared to rent a car or take a taxi.

Idyllique !
Très belle Chambre avec terrasse vue sur la mer. Magique ! Liaison en bus possible du port pour monter à l'hôtel. À 10mn à pied du port en descente ! Excellent choix, avons regretté de n'y passer qu'une nuit lors de notre circuit dans la baie de Naples. Personnel très sympa et très serviable.

Nous avons passé un excellent weekend a l'hotel Ireos. Un peu excentré, les chambres et la terasse ou nous avons prit le petit dejeuner jouissent d'une vue exceptionelle sur la baie. La chambre etait propre et confortable, le petit dejeuner bon et le personnel acceuillant. Nous reviendrons sans hesiter.

Siamo stati una notte in questo grazioso hotel con vista! L'hotel dispone di una terrazza panoramica con vista mozzafiato su Ischia Porto e castello aragonese. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile( avevamo dimenticato una camicia in camera e ci hanno chiamato per avvisarci) Posizione leggermente decentrata ma per la vista ne vale davvero la pena. Al check in ci hanno comunicato di averci fatto un upgrade gratuito in camera con giardinetto( molto apprezzato). Camere graziose e pulite. Un hotel da consigliare!

Es un hotel que reúne lo básico, con vistas muy bonitas desde las terrazas y el restaurante. Incluye desayuno bufete muy completo y la atención es muy buena. Lo único malo son los colchones, muy viejos y incómodos.

Konfortables Hotel in Ischia
Die Villa Ireos liegt ein bißchen höher als das Zentrum der Stadt Ischia. Dieses ist in zehn Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Rückweg bergauf dauert ein bißchen länger. Durch die höhere Lage ist es im Sommer ein angenehmer als im Zentrum. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen super Ausblick auf die Insel und das Meer. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Das Frühstück für italienische Verhälntisse reichlich. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer waren vollkommen in Ordnung und sauber, besonders schön fanden wir es, direkt vom Zimmer auf die Terasse gehen zu können. Der Ausblick ist ein Traum, dafür ist das Hotel nicht ganz zentral gelegen, es gibt aber eine Bushaltestelle in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Die Belegschaft ist sehr herzlich und freundlich!

Personale gentilissimo, c'è un panorama mozzafiato... forse il più bello che ho visto ad Ischia. La colazione o la cena se fate mezza pensione si fa su un terrazzo con vista panoramica. Avendo fatto più volte la mezza pensione abbiamo ricevuto l'ingresso alle terme di castiglione gratis! Consiglio di fittare auto o scooter essendo posto un po' in collina
