Great location and what a view!

Amazing location. Best rooms are the terraces in front if the pool. The food in the restaurant is great and prices are in par with eating in a restaurant in town. Would its a great place to base yourself when visiting Capri and amalfi coast.

Scenic Location

Posted May 8, 2014
Pros: Position on a small peninsular at the far side of Ischia Port. Very secluded and peaceful.
Cons: Balcony was quite enclosed and still needed a clean - especially the tiles after the builders had been doing some work
Location: Good for the ferries, buses to explore the island and a walk along the quay to good restaurants and very good shopping.Walkable to Ischia Castle.
Our room was beautifully refurbished. You enter along an Art Deco marble corridor. Bathroom was immaculate - great shower and towels were plentiful. Managed to find an English channel on the TV. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Swimming pool was clean and poolside well kept. Wonderful views in every direction. only five minutes walk from the ferry at Ischia Port - very convenient.

Best kept secret in all of Ischia

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing! It's already perfect!!!
Location: Read the write up I just wrote. Better yet, make a reservation and go see for yourself!
The Pagoda is a fantastic place to stay. If you are looking for a low cost hotel that offers very convient ammenties, this is the place for you! Within a short walk from the port, wonderful resturants within walking distance and very helpful people (especially ANNA) that works at the Pagoda residence. THis hotel offers a view of the sea as well as many other ammenties that you want to check out. You will be comfortable and able to use your money on taking side trips around the island and visiting the Thermal water Parks. Anna is very helpful in setting whatever it is you want to do. You won't be disappointed if you choose this hotel. It's my second visit there and would not hesitate on returning to the same hotel!

Enchanting spot

Lovely bungalow room, clean and spacious. Resorts overlooks the water and the view is magical. Staff extremely helpful. It was a pity I was there in the off season as the bar and restaurant were closed. The Room has a mini fridge but is unstocked so good idea to take provisions. Would definitely stay there again.

Walking distance to Ischia Porto.

Posted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: The staff (Thadeo, and his wife, Mom, Bossina(?) and Anna and Luigi; the location is a 10 minutes walk to the port, fantastic view.
Cons: Breakfast is always the same every morning for the seven days we were there.
Location: Very close to Ischia port, shopping and good restaurants are all walking distance to the hotel. Be sure to go to Sargeto Terme in San't Angelo.
Enjoyed the fantastic view, location is good, close to the port, easy walk to the bus station and waterfront as well as shopping. Breakfast can be improved with the addition of fruits and variety of bread or pastries. The staff tried their best to help giving directions and advice on where to go in the island.

Basic, cheap, clean & well located

Posted Sep 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Pagoda hotel is very well located a couple of minutes walk from Ischia Port. It's easy to walk into town for shops and restaurants. The location right by the sea with views of the lighthouse is spectacular. The pool is lovely - you must wear a swimming hat (you can buy one for a couple of Euro in town). There are lots of sun loungers. What lets this place down is the rooms - ours (#62) was extremely basic, and smelt terribly mouldy. The room was clean, but grouting around shower was absolutely black with age. Bed hard. Not even so much as a glass to use when cleaning you teeth. It did have an empty fridge, an old TV with one English Channel CNN, and an AC unit. But we tried to spend as little time in the room as possible. Food was good value fr the money - a choice of 2 pasta staters, followed by a choice of meat or seafood with a salad or veg of the day. Half board cost us around what we usually pay for a private double room in a your hostel . On that basis the Pagoda is great value. Plus Ischia is really beautiful and iIschia's thermal spas are definitely worth visiting.

Perfect location, straight into the sea

Posted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Location and access to sea
Cons: Overall maintenance of rooms
The hotel would be simply OK, if it were not for the location. The views and direct access to the sea is incomparable. Only a few blocks from the ferry port and numerous dinning places is wonderful. We had 2 days of incredible good weather, which made a big difference. The rooms are very (extremely) simple, could do with some maintenance, but clean and spacious. Must pick a room with a sea view...that is 80% of the hotel. We will return.

Nice hotel for value..

The hotel was nice and clean which is very important. Although if you need WiFi do no rely on the wifi here...it is absolutely horrible besides the fact that its not available to you in your room only in the restaurant. The food at the restaurant was actually great with very reasonable prices. The town isn't to far its about a 10 minute walk. The port is very very very close if you have a lot of luggage it may be a little difficult walking through the cobblestone streets but its less than a 5 minute walk from the port. The pool is nice (the shower cap rule a little ridiculous) the scenery is beautiful. The beach is nice as well just very rocky. Overall it was a nice hotel good for its price.
