Lovely apartment in the centre of Grenoble

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: The hotel was modern, very clean, close to the town, and the staff were very helpful and spoke English.
We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of September 2014. Our studio apartment was quite large, very modern and very clean. The small kitchen was very useful for preparing our breakfast, which saved us money. There were 2 supermarkets directly across the road from the hotel, which also made it easy. The hotel has its own underground car park which was good as there is not a lot of parking in the street. You will need to check in first and get instructions for the car park, as it is not obvious from the street. There are a number of restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

Apartment near to city centre

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: Nice peaceful apartment just outside city centre with good amenities
Cons: Table and chairs in the room would have been nice
Location: Two days is probably enough to see Grenoble unless visiting a lot of museums. Telepheric is the must do with walk back to town
Comfortable apartment handily situated near city centre and tram line. Used as a base for exploring Grenoble. Grenoble can be easily walked, but a good tram service covers the city. This apartment was large and comfortable and 5 minutes walk from the city centre squares. Supermarkets and shops for self catering are on the door step.

Bicycking Trip

Great hotel with great location. Easy walk to center of town...grocery store across the street to stock the fridge...staff helpful and informative...did not buy morning breakfast but it looked typical of european breakfsst.. .great little auto coffee machine for an anytime pick me up. Parking is tight so rent a compact...I had a Fiat 500L that did just fine. Wifi worked great...limited english channels but why would u sit in your hotel and watch tv...YOUR IN FRANCE!!!

Convenient to city sightseeing

Nice kitchenette and separate bedroom for privacy. Attentive and helpful staff, when they are actually on duty. Launderette on site was extremely convenient. Clean and comfortable. Close to ATMs, restaurants, and other city sites. Free under-ground parking garage - very tight quarters!

Pros: Very friendly staff - very clean and well presented
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: Good location - supermarket opposite. Also near tram stop.
Although on arrival the hotel hadn't got us on their system (which we had booked and pre-paid for) they did manage to accommodate us. Rather embarrassing at the time - the apartment was very clean with everything required - even a dishwasher with tablets supplied. Enjoyed our stay. Would certainly go back.

Great value for money

I was really impressed by citadines. The room was modern, spotless and extremely well equipped, especially in the kitchen. It's a 10 minute walk to the city centre and close to all major transport links,. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and I had a great stay. I've even recommended it to my parents who are planning on booking a stay in the near future.

Great service

The staff were extremely helpful to a non-French-speaker. On the first morning, very noisy gardening was going on --- which happens, apparently, twice a year, so just bad luck. Window could not be left open with curtains drawn, making summer nights somewhat uncomfortable.

Worth considering

Excellent staff but no aircon in the room made sleep difficult in the heat. Good breakfast. Great location. Overall a good stay
