We really enjoyed our first time to villa flamingos. it is the furthest hotel from the port. taxi rides into town on ATV is about 200 pesos or $12 one way. The front desk is very accommodating. Ride the bicycles that are provided for free instead of paying for taxi. We were in room 18 with very nice accommodation ask for rooms in the higher numbers like 43 if you want a Sunset view. Breakfast was incredible every day. the beach bar keeps strange hours and isn’t always open when you want a drink so you can order from restaurant. Housekeeping was unbelievable and they did it very early so your room was nice and fresh all day. Would definitely go back.

The staff was excellent! Especially Ivan, who helped with transportation, and Nacho and Jesus who were with the restaurant at the hotel. It was beautiful and the rooms were quite nice. We’ll be back!

Hotel was very nice for holbox. Location is not great. Beach was full of both garbage and seaweed. In the hotels defense there was a storm surge that flooded the beach and lagoon in front of the hotel with sea weed and garbage. Staff worked hard to do what they could.

All in all a Great stay
It was a great stay despite a bad start. Thanks to Carla for helping us change our room and upgrading us after some disrespectful guests used loud music at night. Note: it is formally forbidden. All guests signed the resort rules at check in. I would not mind up to 10pm or 11pm. But not after midnight. Rooms are great, while for our 1st room a shelf under the sink of the very tiny bathroom would have been of help. I had to put my stuff in the toilet. The balcony with the view on the sea is fantastic. The food was delicious for both breakfast and dinner. Great waiters, thanks to Jesus and Alan. There is no sand beach at that resort being at the end of the strand, I would say the minus point, but 3 pools, with a stunning view on the sea. The advantage is it is quiet. It is in front of the sand bank, convenient to reach and walk up to Punto mosquito. Unfortunately, algae had invaded the beach, giving off a nauseating odor. All in all a relaxing stay, what we were looking for.

Over all, the stay at the hotel and service is excellent.! Healthy, variable options of food and fresh! Nice options for swimming between the pools and beach. It’s a plus that the hotel offer paddle boards and bicycles, it was our way of moving around the island. Thanks Holbox 💚

it’s a beautiful location don’t get me wrong but overall tired - whilst the staff try, my entire experience is ruined by the excessive demand and pressure to tip …I was chased out of the breakfast restaurant on my first day because I hadn’t signed ? Why do I need to sign when breakfast is included? oh because you haven’t left a tip ? all over the world I have never tipped daily for breakfast service. I will give something to F&B be at the end of my stay but I’m not paying a tip every day. Then at checkout and amount is suggested to me to tip for Gardening and maintenance !? Sorry I’m paying near on £400 a night for what is essentially basic accommodation with a bohemian aesthetic - that should cover the person raking up the leaves ?! I am a really generous person and I always tip housekeeping at the end of my day but I detest been dictated to what I shouldn’t shouldn’t have and to whom? avoid if you want to chill without feeling cheap

Facility was great. Long ways from center of town which was both a plus and a minus. Sand bar is right in front of hotel and the sunset views are unparalleled. Staff was very attentive, and rooms were well equipped and cleaned.

This hotel is15 min from the ferry station. It’s located in front of the beautiful ocean and sandbar which is the main attraction of the island. However, it’s also surrounded by mud paddles and a stinky sewage bank full of insects. Employees are kind but the hotel has very limited resources. Bring your own drinking water before getting here. Food served at the only restaurant this property has isn’t good and still very expensive. Breakfast was included for us due to the high price we paid for the staying, but nothing we had was enjoyable or tasty. We couldn’t unpack due to how small the closet in the room is. There are not ceiling’s fans installed and the small A/C unit takes hours to cool the room. I wouldn’t return to this place.
