“Nice place”

This hotel is about a mile from the ferry terminal in Douglas. Beautiful, comfortable, and spacious accommodations met all expectations for the price. The only downside for us was that our room was right above the restaurant/bar downstairs and both nights they had music playing until about midnight. However the restaurant had very good food prepared from locally sourced ingredients and the bar had real ale, so when they kept us awake we simply decided it was time to go down for a pint and some entertainment instead. I should note that they apparently have two buildings, one slightly closer to the promenade that's called Glen Mona. Since it was the off season we stayed at the building up the road a bit, also called the Mereside and the HQ Bar and Restaurant.

“Very friendly guesthouse in Douglas”

Very friendly and helpful staff; comfortaable room, good brreakfast. Quite good location - 10 minutes walk to town centre; one minute from seafront promenade. Free parking on-street nearby, but occasionally had to park a few minutes' walk away.

“Fabulous B&B would definately return...”

We stayed at the Glen Mona for 3 nights in an executive room with sea view. The room was clean and spacious, with comfy bed and tea making facilities, refreshed daily. Staff were very friendly, providing excellent service. We had a wonderful stay and would definately return. The HQ bar is situated a few steps up the hill and is where you will have the fantastic breakfast and also dinner or evening meal if you wish. We ate twice in the restaurant for our evening meals and the food is fabulous. The location is fantastic only a few minutes walk to the beach and Douglas promenade. We arrived by ferry and the B&B is approximately 25 minutes walk. Make full use of the excellent public transport around the Island, if you dont want to take the car. Excellent stay and we will definately be returning.....

“Poor Quality”

Poor quality hotel. No resturant in hotel. Resturant up the hill for evening meal and breakfast. There would be a problem if raining.
