“Definitely recommend it”

Nice comfortable hotel in a very handy location for 'downtown' Douglas and the ferry terminal. Great island and fine hotel - well worth a visit.

“loping floors”

this hotel provided exactly what it said in the brochure - but it was disappointing because we were on the 3rd floor, and 1 all the floors sloped across the width of the room, and 2 the only way to see the view was to stand up. I was disappointed not to be able to sit in an armchair in the (bay windows as the lower floors had) and watch the world go by. the bathroom was extremely good and bar one receptionist the staff were fantastic. But be warned parking is difficult and if you park by the hotel you have to move the car every 2 hours or gert a fine

“Mixed feelings”

The first room I was given was too small for a double room and looked out onto a blank wall 10 feet away. However the management were very cooperative and moved me to a much better room after 3 days, at no extra charge.

breakfast was fantastic on buffet, hot food a bit small helping wise.Did not try dinner menu as it seemed expensive for the surroundings
