Felt that being at home!Posted Feb 24, 2014
Nice hotel, really friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. If I was going to be picky I'd say the bar could be updated and the choice of crisps enlarged from just Ready Salted!

Amazing location hotel for business and pleasurePosted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: Great Cowes location and walking distance to Cowes Marina and centre
Cons: Bit pricey but then again this was just after Cowes Week.
Amazing location. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Good car parking so ideal for business and leisure

A great welcomePosted Jul 20, 2013
Pros: The decor and clenliness showed the hotel was well looked after
Location: The location for us was perfect, a nice gentle scenic stroll from the town centre. The views are stunning
Very enjoyable stay, we would recommend to others. We shall certainly return. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Well done to them all.

Good hotel and good foodPosted Mar 23, 2013
Pros: good views, comfortable room, good staff
Cons: car parking could be a challenge
Location: 20 minutes walk from Cowes which is fine in nice weather
Great staff and nice setting. Food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner. Had a room with a view of the sea and passing ocean going vessels. 20 minutes from town but it is a flat walk.

Pleasant hotel in a lovely setting.Posted Feb 20, 2013
Pros: We had visited before just for lunch, and the food was very good then as well.
Cons: Breakfast buffet selection was a bit limited.
This is a good hotel which could be better with just a little effort. It has a lovely setting with views over the Solent across the road. Staff at reception and during lunch service were helpful, but those at breakfast obviously found mornings rather glum. Our room was spacious and quiet, with a large king size bed, though I found the mattress somewhat uncomfortable (I would recommend Mattison as found on a dreamy hotel bed recently). A minor quibble was that it was not possible to have on only one of the bedside lights. Breakfast was OK, though I always thought dried apricots should be rehydrated to make them edible! A large family party gathered for lunch, which was very well presented and tasty. We are informed that this is a 'dog friendly' hotel so will probably stay again in the future when visiting relatives, allowing us to take our own pet.

Really Good HotelPosted Jun 8, 2012
Hotel has a very good outlook over the Solent. The food was excellent. Very quiet, even though they had a wedding party on the Saturday evening. All staff very courteous and helpful. Would certainly stay there again.

Lovely views of the SolentPosted Jun 6, 2012
Nice seafront location and lovely views over the solent. Good size room and very comfortable bed, bathroom was a little tired but not too bad. Good breakfast. The hotel wrote to warned us there was a wedding on during our stay, the music was very loud but stopped at midnight and after that the rooms were very quiet. About 15mins walk to the town. We liked the hotel and would stay again, but did not realy like Cowes as not enough nices places to eat.
