Fabulous!Posted Sep 17, 2014
We have just returned from an amazing 4 nights stay at Casati House. I have used the word 'fabulous' in the title, as the décor and service both deserve a special superlative. We both loved the ambience of the place and the welcome we received. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt really at home. We didn't miss the TV as their were better things to do. ;-) Our room was comfortable and clean, the décor fantastic (the photos don't do it justice!) and the view across the Solent was incredible. Ryde itself appears to be on the turning point. There are a few tired-looking shops and restaurants, but plenty of smarter establishments moving in to take over. The Coastal Railway leaves from Ryde Pier, only a short walk from Casati House, and you can connect to the Steam Railway. Quite a treat if you want a break from driving. I am definitely going to be recommending Casati House to my friends. If you are travelling to the Isle of Wight and looking for a very special experience, check out Casati House. If you're looking for nice Formica tables and gingham table cloths, go somewhere else. I also strongly recommend using their restaurant; the food is simply amazing. Fancy a champagne breakfast? This is the place. Indulge yourself... you deserve it.

Quirky, unique hotel.Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Good position, comfortable room, good breakfast. Wonderful decor. Friendly staff.
Cons: Let people have their own key to the front door. Provide a small fridge in the room and allow independent food and drink.
Location: Access to beaches and amenities of the Isle of Wight.
The ambience is lovely, beautiful antiques and old fashioned design, very arty. The room was spacious and comfortable (The French Quarter). A good breakfast is served. Joseph is warm, polite and friendly. However we weren't allowed to have our own key to the front door and had to ring a bell to be let in each time. If we wanted tea or coffee we needed to ask and be waited on. As independent travellers this was a problem for us. We like to come and go as we please and not answer to anybody. We were allowed no food or drink in our room unless supplied by management.

Lovely Boutique Hotel :o}Posted Feb 13, 2014
Location: Next to the Pier and Main Street in Ryde so perfectly located.
Everything was perfect, from a warm welcoming, to a really spacious room decorated with a lovely taste!!! I went in town for dinner and got invited for a drink when I got back to the hotel. Again, Loved the Bar Room, lots of things to look at. Breakfast was lovely, more than enough food!! Nice smoked salmon and the glass of champagne was the icing on the cake!!! Will use this hotel again and recomment people to go there too/

Das Casati in Ryde ist ein Erlebnis.Posted Aug 29, 2011
