Good location, comfortable roomPosted Aug 9, 2014
Good location and comfortable room. However, found one particular staff member quite rude especially after being practically squawked at for sitting at the 'wrong table' at breakfast. Overall nice B&B

Pros: The friendliness of the owners
Location: In Shanklin within walking distance of both the old village and chine and also the town. Easy to find.
The family went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They helped us with our house hunting, providing us with advice, telephone numbers and papers. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty.

Great host!Posted May 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
The most friendly B&B we ever stayed in. Room and breakfast were great but the host were even better! We will definitely recommend Heatherleigh Guest House to our friends and family.

What a lovely welcome!Posted Apr 13, 2013
My parents spent their Honeymoon on The Isle Of Wight 58 years ago, so this was a trip down memory lane for my Mum. Kim and Mary couldn't have made us feel more at home, and although l did have an itinerary prepared, they had plenty of suggestions of places to visit, and recommended some wonderful restaurants. Our room was very comfortable, and the breakfast wonderful, such a selection. I would definitely recommend the Heatherleigh Guest House to anyone visiting the beautiful Isle of Wight, my Mum even commented that she would be happy to travel to the Isle of Wight and stay there on her own, that is a real indication of the warmth of Kim and Mary - they are a great team.
Great Breakfast!Posted Nov 9, 2012 on Hotels.com
I booked this as a quiet break from our hectic schedules for myself and my Fiancée and it was just that. The location is great, Shanklin is a lovely little village and has some great walks along the coast. The bed was large and comfortable, the owners made us feel like one of the family and although we were the only guests on the first night and had one other couple staying the next they still made the effort. If we come back this is where we'll stay.

very good guest housePosted Aug 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
this guest house is good condition and very good services, including the people and the breakfast, and train station pack up. But the hotels.com is not really responsible for, bcz I have fully booked the room and they didnt inform the guest house to reserve the room for me.... luck they have a empty room that day I arrive.
