A very pretty looking hotel located in VentnorPosted Jun 2, 2014
Cons: - this was a family room so it would have been good to have 'black out' curtains to encourage our little one to sleep in! - bigger bath towels!
Location: Hotel was situated in an ideal spot - all the main attractions were easily accessible. We loved the 'Spyglass Inn' - great food and live music.
- very large family room, very spacious - smallish shower room but adequate - lovely sea views - friendly staff

traditional english hotelPosted May 12, 2013
Pros: size of room, broadband, quiet location, traditional English hotel
Cons: small bathroom, but adequate
Location: Nice part of the IOW and a lovely setting and garden.
Beautiful surroundings and location on the IOW make this an exceptional hotel for a quiet break, whilst being close to town and beach. Great to see such an old and impressive building being used for guests. Quiet room, much larger than average budget hotels. Free parking. Breakfast was ample and old-fashioned, but this is part of the appeal of this traditional old English hotel, still with many of the original features..
