The Birkdale Guest House offers an ideal base for your holiday on the Isle of Wight with excellent transport links for those without a car.
All rooms have central heating and have a shower and toilet en-suite. The rooms are all individually decorated and furnished to ensure you are comfortable.

“Absolutely perfect”
The Birkdale Guest house is really well-presented and kept spotless and comfortable. Jackie and Bill are really friendly and give good suggestions on where to visit and eat. Their breakfast is amazing and they're willing to accommodate if you've any special requests. Shanklin is a small town, full of tea rooms if that's your thing! And an amazing sweet shop that's open til late. There are so many different kinds of nougat, fudge, rock, chocolate, marshmallows... I could have stayed in there hours. Our stay was a short one but we will definitely return and stay at the Birkdale Guesthouse again.
“Pretty good~”
The hotel is pretty good,the location is good caz you can easily get to the bus stop and go around the island. The decuration in the room is fantastic too.~~we love it so much~~
“Small friendly hotel”
We were given a very friendly welcome on arrival. The room was spotless and the beds comfortable and with a new TV and tea making facilities we were happy as the weather was wet. The shower was one of the best I have used in a hotel. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the food was very well presented cooked perfectly. At the end of our stay we were offered a lift to the station when we asked for a taxi number as it was still raining!

The hosts are very kind...the room is very tidy and clean..we experienced a very pleasant stay there...absolutely recommend.
